Bella House seemed to be a lovely traditional hotel style accommodation with a relaxing vibe in the middle of Ubud. I admire the family that run the business as they are kind. But, there is bedbugs in the lower floor room near the entrance. Otherwise: The rooms were spacious and the bathroom was clean and modern and there was a large fan to cool the room down. The staff were very friendly and made a delicious breakfast of fruits, breads and an egg based meal like omelet or scrabbled egg. The courtyard is lovely and rooms come with a porch to sit and relax. The only downside of the place was that the room downstairs was quite dark, and the bed unsatisfactory as we noticed bugs on the bed at night and got bites. The mattress is worn out. I would advise this place to use some sort of pest control in the room and replace the mattress/bed. Otherwise a fine place to stay, very close to monkey forest and shops in Ubud.
