Unfortunately we didn't have much luck with this place. Rented 4 bikes, we needed to change one of them because after 5 minutes the battery was already low. The tire of another bike got broken so we needed to call them to change another bike. The battery of the third bike was on and off, it was unpredictable. The staff was very nice and helpful though, they arrived 20 minutes after the tire broke and gave us another bike. Probably it's better to have a guide with you (they can get you one), we went by ourselves and got lost in the huge slopes and hills and got very tired in the burning sun.

Great experience. Only avoiding Monkey temple road could have improved it.
At short notice we arranged an afternoon ride via an agent in Ubud. (The nice young guy with the tiny stand near the football field). We had a group of seven ranging in age from 8 to 74. We found the eBikes a fab way to explore the area.
After battling through the traffic up Monkey Temple Road, we eventually got to wonderful paddy fields, local villages and photo opportunities a plenty. Paths took us right through the fields with only the occasional moped to pass. Stunning.
Katut, our guide was accompanied by 3 others who blocked intersections and kept the stragglers company; making the whole experience a lot less nerve-racking.
The bikes are great. Just twist the handle and you are up the hills in no time. Our 8 and 10 year olds rode on the back carriers of our bikes which wasn't totally comfortable but better than them braving the traffic on their own. Great experience. Maybe one day they can get a shed outside town to avoid the nerve racking traffic at the start and end. Thanks, Katut!

Great service again from Ketut at Bali eBikes! This is the best way to see Ubud - either with a guided tour or by renting an ebike for a few days. They provide a helmet and a bike chain plus a charger. This is the second time I have used their service and could not be happier! Thanks Ketut!

Warning ! If you are hiring independantly...this Company has not put a bell, back reflector or a front light on these E bikes.Gets dark at 7pm - and I fell off the bike and broke my wrist as most country roads are not lit so it was pitch dark.
Was in hospital and managed to organise return of bike on time but an hour before bike due back, but someone from this Company phoned me very angrily demanding return of bike ( ? ) Told him bike is on way back.Told him I broke my wrist - didn't care....
