Lovely place very calm and peaceful.
You serve yourself at the buffet (almost everything is vegan), same for any drink and then you give a donation in a small glass bottle and clean your plate. The recommendation is ~36.000 for a plate but be generous, maybe the next person can't afford a meal.
Really good values. Depending on the people hanging around you can easily spend a full afternoon there.
Owner are friendly, the food is good and there is also a cafe here.
The entrance is a bit hard to find but from the street you can find a 9 Angels sign and then you go in a pathway for a few meters.

Amazing vegan food and delicious beverages! I felt warm and welcomed as I walked in the door. The owners are very friendly, helpful and kind. We met some lovely girls while eating and shared stories. Would recommend!

Hands down the best place for food and kombucha we’ve been to in Bali in 4 weeks. The food was amazing and so were the drinks, and I can’t help but mention their amazing, amazing policy of trust. There are no waiters and waitresses running around - you serve your own food, clean your own dishes, and leave the correct amount in the money jar. I’m so happy to see that these kinds of places still exist!
Oh and of course the ambiance is another highlight, you will want to spend at least an hour in there after your meal, the atmosphere’s beyond pleasant.

Hippie atmosphere, tasty vegetarian food.
The prices are written for one portion, so you can count by yourself and put the money in the jar.
Interior is interesting and unique. A lot of flowers and natural materials.
One minus - mosquitos)
Like this place))) sometimes there are desserts in this warung.
The stuff is very friendly.

Nine Angels. I love this place. Its profits are shared by the staff but you pay what you wish for your meal. It’s been going 6 years and it profitable.
You pay for how much you eat and do your own dishes and clean up after yourself. What a concept ! Very arty, creative place, share, listen to music. Wonderful wood fired pizza and the best coffee plus great cakes! It's not just a restaurant its a co-sharing, tribal concept where you are welcomed and made to feel included and creative!

A magical place. There are plenty of vegetarian mains, sides, desserts, fruits and drinks (teas, juices, access to a smoothie maker). A lot of the food is Indonesian style with more variety than the typical warung. You serve yourself in a buffet style, after you finish your meal you leave the money in a jar on your table and you wash your own dishes. This is one of those place that is powered by the community and it is magical that way.

This is the kind of place I would love to give 6 stars. Two for the tasty and healthy food, two for the garden ambiance and decoration and two more for the whole idea of this social enterprise. I sure hope they will succeed, they certainly deserve it! As it's easy to overlook the small alley leading to it, some 600 meters from the Ubud palace, I include some pictures of the entrance.
