Really chill homely vibes. affordable, yet right smack in the middle of every thing...I've stayed in ubud numerous times but this is the most central location amongst all my previous stays. The homemade pancake u0026 the folding up of clothes as well as the free mozzie coils are very much appreciated.
Only improvement might be the light permeating thru some of the corner rooms and the ventilation for the shower/ toilets. The farm like home front with chickens and cats and dogs running about and that talking bird is really an highlight for us.

Absolutely great place in the heart of Ubud, staying here you can feel something authentic and Ketut is super helpful host (I had pain in my back and he brought some oils to reduce the pain, which was really nice).I do recommend to book directly. And of course - pancakes- first class :)

In Mai 2019 we stayed at Artja Inn for about 2 Weeks on beautiful island of bali. The Room was clean and had everything you need for an afordable price. WiFi was pretty good for balinese condition, very nice terrace and garden. Hot Water and Tea/Coffee always on the terrace and free and the everyday Breakfast is very delicious. Very central in ubud u can reach many places by feet 4 example monkey forest ~20min, also we highly recommend a scooter to visit the surrounding countryside of ubud. But our highlight was the owner of artja inn homestay, Ketut, which is probably one of the nicest persons we ever meet. Always friendly with a smile on his face and an open ear, taking care and trying everything to make you feel well at his home. If we someday come back to bali there will be defenitley a stay at artja inn again. We felt very well these 2 weeks at Ketut's place.

Good place to stay in Ubud, near the market, temple and palace, quiet and cosy, simple and clean, very cheap
