Clean and spacious rooms, although its furnitures a bit old but with the affordable price/night its all worth with the room facilities such as coffee/tea maker and refrigerator. The room could use a more soundproof walls because unfortunately we could still hear the sound from the streets outside and the guest that talk super loudly next door. But overall i had an enjoyable stay.

Not the best yet luxurious hotel around the area. You can choose another hotel to stay.

Standard amenities. A not so large ballroom and smaller ballrooms. Standard restaurants but with great Padang taste. Very tight parking space.

However, if you want to choice a hotel that has rich cultural management and good price, then choice this hotel.

** Quarantine Review**
I spent 10 days quarantine in Balairung Hotel. In essence, it was pleasant stay. It met my expectation however there are spaces for improvement.

Service: Their Service are awesome, I booked a room via Bu Anna, She worked so good to fulfill my request. Pak Ali picked me up from airport and the trip to hotel was smooth. Their receptionist really responsive to answer and help me.

Room: Old but huge room, for long stay this is what i expected, had a problem with AirCon but they solved it quickly. The room was clean tho there are marks on sofa and carpet
Tips: Choose Odd number rooms as they have better view.

Wifi: Perfect. Netflix, Football match streaming, Teams meeting, upload download without problem

Food: was fine, they offer Indonesian and western. Indonesian menu was good, western one was so so. You might want larger portion than what they provide. They have room service restaurant so you can always order extra food with additional cost.
Breakfast delivered always ontime (6:30, 12:00, 18:00) and snacks in between.

My only concern was about the staff who always rang the bell anytime they deliver your food or laundry, better to ask them to not ring the bell or just hang the "Dont disturb" sign on your door.

Great location, just in main road, near to Gramedia Book Store. The Guest can enjoyed Minang Culinary at Breakfast time.
Spacious family room with comfortable bed.
It would be better with a little adjustment in clerk work style, coz they keep our id card while check in but forgot to return it in the check out time..

We can't wait to come back. Our rooms were in fabulous shape. All the staff in the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The design of the hotel is very elegant. Each morning we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast buffet. I can imagine the courtyard would be lovely in summer. Breakfast are good enough with some choice of food.

The suite we got was very impressive. There are ***y restaurant around and convenient store. The gardens are an absolute pleasure to walk around. Really good interactions with guest services prior to my visit. Each room we entered we were impressed by the decorations. The beds were large enough to sleep comfortably. All together a very good hotel.

Culture of the minang impressed very luxurious. Nice hotel with all the amenities you need. Their services have always be good. Converted from an office building, the room was large but oddly shaped with sharp angles and corners. The room had a great lay out with a modern feel.
