Would have liked to give this place a better review because I know they’re new and working out the bugs. My girlfriend and I sat down to a dirty table and the waitress made a half-hearted attempt to clean off a few crumbs, but we ended up having to wipe it down ourselves. She then took my girlfriend’s drink order, but not mine. Another waiter brought her drink and I had to ask hi as he was leaving to bring me a beer.
My girlfriend ordered the ravioli with cheese and spinach and I ordered a prosciutto pizza. Hers came in about 10 minutes, but mine lagged. I don’t know why Bali can’t figure out that guests would like their meals to arrive at the same time. It’s common here so I allowed for a few minutes, but my pizza finally arrived. I thought they forgot and I was just going to forget about it and go somewhere else.
The worst part is that while my girlfriend was eating, the owner came over to ask her how her meal was. Didn’t even look at me.
So I tried her ravioli as I was waiting and didn’t like it. Some strange, watery sauce in place of tomato sauce and a strange crumbly cheese over the top,not what you’d expect. It left a bad after taste in my mouth.
As she was finishing her last bite, my pizza finally arrived. To my surprise it wasn’t too bad. Not sure if it was because I was hungry or if it was actually a decent pie, but I finished the whole thing.
Girlfriend ordered a Sprite because her lemon squash was tasteless. Her Sprite came and was warm, no glass.
As we left, the owner again came over, totally ignored me and thanked my girlfriend.
Overall, the wait staff was very nice, but needs more training. The food is a wash. Horrible ravioli and pretty good pizza. Price was high for what you get - meals and drinks for 2, about IDR 250,000.
