Overall very satisfied experience. We picked the villa with 4 br for a family gathering, one room is the 'master' twice as big as the rest of the three. room is daily cleaned, pool is fantastic, total privacy, living space very casual and cozy. Staff are very friendly, even though not all comfortable with english service.
minor issues are that the kitchen facility seems kind of simple, but with daily cooked-on-scene breakfast, why would you care...there is no wachine machine available, you will need to use the laundry service, which can cost IDR from 2K to 15K, go figure... the location is not the closest to the beach, it is in the small alley so you will soon learn to use the bike they offer you to use for free.
the villa lock has a hideously larch keys, making it nearly unrealistic to lock anything or carry it with you when you are out. but i am relaxed person so it doesn't bother me, especially when there are 24/7 security caring for the premise. after 3 or 4 days their breakfast offer seems getting a little tired, but hey, you are in bali, so what stops you from riding the bikes out to try out some local features?
Villa Tulip is not for everyone, but if you are looking for a peaceful hideaway break this is a place you will like.
