Staff are very friendly, and the outdoor area is nice, but unfortunately the quality of the room was very low.
Water pressure and temperature in the shower was abysmal, the toilet was broken when we arrived, the bathroom is in need of a very deep clean, the bedsheets and provided towels had a dirty feel to them.
The rooms themselves aren't fitted with locks, instead flimsy padlocks are looped through the doorhandles, leaving enough room to open the doors enough to see the entire room. There was no safe or lockbox in the room, and with such low security it would have been a welcome touch.
Very thin walls between adjacent rooms meant we were privy to every conversation our neighbours had, along with some other noises from their room.
A number of cockroaches were staying with us in our bathroom, plus a few dead roaches behind the bedside table and in the shower.
Price per night was also rather steep, compared to a number of other places we looked at or stayed at so far.
On the positive side, though, the pool is lovely - the multicoloured lighting at night looks wonderful and really sets an amazing atmosphere off.
The employees were all helpful and happy to say hello, and someone was always around at the reception area twenty four hours a day.
A small pug lives at the reception area and doesn't seem to mind attention, along with a very young pup and a newly born litter of cats.
The outside of the rooms look amazing, with ornate patterns on the doors and the corners of the rooftops.
The local area is nicely varied, with market stores around the corner, a wide selection of different cuisines and restaurants, and a large number of bars and pubs on the road - though very few of them seem to cater to more than three or four patrons a night.
