The menu here is amazing. It is much more than a coffee house with so many great things to choose from.

We ordered sizzling plates, one featuring crispy mushrooms, the other with tofu. Both very tasty and good portions, and great value.

Currently we are staying in Seminyak and the Fortunate Cafe is just 2km away, so easy to get to.

It is located at the back of a Buddhist temple which is also worth a look. It features an elaborate series of stone carved reliefs. Outside their are also playful statues of Buddha.

Highly recommend, and not just for vegetarians.

Delicious Vegan Restaurant that is in the same grounds as the Buddhist Temple. Extensive menu. I tried their hot plate of sizzling crunchy mushrooms which was a complete meal and great value for about Rp 35,000. I will return to try the rest of their menu!

Came here for the breads but unfortunately they don’t have all breads menu. They no longer serve any breads nor cakes and bao. Ended up try their mie fortunate and jamur asam manis. Well, mie fortunate tastes great, i like the taste and small sized noodles, it’s a bit overcooked. While jamue asam manis is a bit tasteless, but maybe because I asked them to not add MSG to the dish.

The place is spacious and clean, it’s a good place to gather with big family, a group of friends, or company gathering. It’s attached with big Maitreya Monastery.

The service as good, the food was simple but yummy. The restaurant was very neat and very clean. It felt refreshing to be here!

They specialize in handdrip coffee here.
