Fresh hot vegetarian samosas with mint sauce, beautifully textured garlic nan and a fantastic chicken curry served in an earthen small pot - all delicious and served with grace by the young waitress. This simple eatery deserves a wider audience.

Little India was one of the better Indian restaurants pre covid. Dined there many times in the past. suprisingly standard has dropped dramatically. Was extremely disappointed with meals last night. Hope they improve for my next trip to Bali.

We had dinner at this restaurant during our vacation at Bali. We ordered garlic naan, aloo peas kuruma and Gobi peas curry. The naan was soft and good but too much butter on it.

They Curries were awesome but less in quantity. Price is nominal and ambience was good

Service was really good here. The food is fine. The samosas we had for appetizer was really good and the mango chutney was terrific. I had the chicken curry and my girlfriend had the chicken masala. Hers was better. Sauces were pretty good, but the chicken was a bit bland, like it was placed in the sauce to cook quickly rather pressure cooked or slow cooked to get the flavor throughout the meat. If they do that, this could be a better place. Decor was old and not too fancy. Bathrooms not too clean.

Amazing and delicious! “Don’t judge a book by its cover” might applied to this experience. While strooling around Sanur, a good friend of mine suddenly craving for Indian food and here we are, at Little India. He know quite well about Indian food because he’s been to the country a few times so we trust in his choices of food. I recommend you to order Pulao Rice, Gariio Naan, Chicken Makni (this is the most delicious one!), Aro Goby, and Papadam. All of those delicious food will cost you under IDR 300,000.

If had the choice, would not even give 1 Star..

Been 3 times before, great food, a bit pricy but all in all, we came away with fully satisfied tummys... until now, today...

We were the only customers which is surprising, based on supposed popular times being 6pm... we ordered our usual, and asked one of the friendly girls for A Chicken Vindaloo, very spicy please with extra sauce as we found the curries to sometimes be a bit dry..

The food came and started to tuck into the Vindaloo... there was no spice at all, nothing... so we kindly asked one of the girls if we could speak to the person who cooked the dish to explain the minor issue... after a few minutes after seeing heated discussions between staff and who we now know is the supposed owner, Dewi, the woman in question, stomped over to our table and told us it was our fault because we told the chef / cook that we did not want spicy...

Clearly their was a communication issue but up to that point and statement, we were absolutely shocked with this womans attitude, her name is Dewi, the Owner! and after a heated blame game, she promptly stormed off! Without even an apology!

For us, it was not about the dish after that... it was attitude... She said they were full all the time, so i added photos to this post... make your own mind up, as well as a receipt for over 400,000 IDR the most expensive meal we have had so far with a healthy dose of attitude, rudeness and arrogance! Nice.

We will state that the 3 young waitresses were very nice and very apologetic for the owner of the business... we assured them it was not their fault and we left without them losing face and embarissed by the whole episode.

Obviously we will not go back, and we actually live in Bali for many years, we are not tourists that get back on a plane and forget... we are in the same service industry. Shame on you.

Little India Has Now Become Even Smaller! Goodbye!

Little india ia also a good Indian Food Restaurant You can eat here, they open till little late then other Indian Restaurants, Food is good, their cheff is good for indian food, but they have timings 11.00pm they closed. They are not pure veg. If u are bored with other restaurant you can try this, except this Queen(kuta) is also good option for indian food, you can get tasty food there. But if you are in Ssnur or Near by, you should go to this restaurant for atleast trying for their food.
