One stop shop for Indonesian food from all around the archipelago. The variety is amazing and the taste also fits the originality of where the food is based (well plus minus). The portions are as advertised and perfect for sharing. I tend to over order whenever I visit the place since the pictures on the menu (well, it used to be printed but in covid times its all through our mobile - maybe bring an iPad so you can see the pics clearer?) are so enticing. Tips is get some mains and don’t skip the desert. they have the typical street food even the ones I grew up with as a kid.
Service is wonderful and the staff is quite strict on the covid measures. So I felt safe eating there.
Super recommended!

Second experience here in Remboelan. For casual
Indonesian dining, this place has one of the most comprehensive menu of Indonesian food.

Every dish served was fresh, hot, crispy (if fried) and not lacking flavor. Every dish is authentic to its origin style and each of the provided sambal was spicy and complementary.

Atmosphere is amazing, although slightly squeezed, you can really soak in an authentic cuisine immersion at Remboelan.

Recommend that you go to this place with 4-5 people which will allow you to order a variety across the menu and give you a full experience.

You know that this place can be trusted when it takes you awhile to get a table and the queue outside is made up largely of native Indonesians.

Pro tip: Bring a bunch of older Indonesian folk and watch them discuss/argue/debate about different Indonesian cuisines and which is better.

This restaurant deserves a 5 star.

I didnt make a reservation so I had to wait for 15 minutes which was ok. They also had drinks for people who were waiting in line.

The way the tables are set up are in such a way that each group enjoys a private dining experience.

The menu is really extensive! They had 3 booklets just for it. I had difficulties just making a choice.

When the food came, we weren’t disappointed at all. Everything we ordered tasted good. In fact, looking at the other food other people ordered made us drool too.

The best I had were the sate mangga and stuffed wings.

Can’t wait to be back!

One of the really good Indonesian restaurant in the city. They have a vast menu covering dishes from different parts of Indonesian. I found their nasi bakar and various rice dishes to be really delicious. This time I had the nasi bakar tongseng kambing and cumi goreng tepung with sambal matah. Both are phenomenal and would recommend it for sure.

I enjoyed all the food I ordered at Remboelan.
Soto ayam Remboelan is delicious, if want to eat rice, need to order separate rice, because the soto ayam is not served with rice.
Telur ceplok raos kota Parahyangan is special, usually ceplok is salty, this dish is sweet and spicy.
Es teh leci jelly tastes fresh.
The price for the food is medium.
Service is good.
Atmosphere is quite satisfactory, I love the wall decorated with kawung.

Remboelan is one of our favourite place to eat Indonesian food. Authentic, delicious, fair price. Remboelan's nasi bakar the best in town ( for us ????), nasi bakar roa for the spicy lover, and nasi bakar cumi for a less spicy lover hehe. Nasi liwet also really nice for sharing. Ikan gurame ujung pandang also delicious. Try their tumis bunga pepaya with salted fish and kecombrang, very very nice.
Overall, everything is almost delicious here.

Remboelan is one of the best place to go for upscale Indonesian cuisine. Their restaurant is very decent yet the food is still offered in the affordable price range.

Their interior which were mostly made of wood gave a fancy atmosphere. Wooden ornaments on the wall also reinforce the vibe.

They offer various Indonesian delicacy such as Soto Betawi, Sate, Nasi Goreng Jawa and many others. The variety of the menu they offer will give you a decision fatique, but don't worry though as all of the food they offer are delicious.

Remboelan also had options to replace rice with shirataki. For those who are cautious of their calories intake, this will make your lunch felt less sinful!

I had their Nasi Goreng Shirataki which tasted great. Definitely deserve another visit.

- Cheers!
