I was not able to rate this the first time I visited but I went back because I loved it here!

Ambiance - liked the cultural vibe the place emanate. Good place to eat with friends or family.

Food - I loved the food variety offered, it tastes good too! Yummy!

Price - Not sure about the local range price but for travellers, it is affordable. You get the value of your money. They accept both cash and card.

They accept reservations but also walk ins.

Went here again for fast-breaking with my friends. It is amazingly fast-breaking friendly and the variety of food one can get for this occasion is impressive. We end up overloading on the tajils and having a bit of mains - best decision ever.
For the adventurous ones, the alcohol collection is there, and my favorite Sangria never disappoints.
Waiters are attentive and its not hard at all to get their attention.

I love everything about Kaum. The food was deliciously amazing. Many Indonesian traditional meals are available for choice. This will be one of our favourite places for #Indonesian food. Also, the place is quite huge, and every corner is well presented. I came here at the time there was a bar takeover event. They served cocktails and decorated the place with a Bataknese touch.

Kaum is an upscale restaurant which differentiates itself by featuring Indonesian traditional cuisine.
With an industrial design - you'd wonder why there's an old warehouse right in central jakarta, with 80s pop music blaring - you cant help but felt the nostalgia.
The food are great although the portion is kinda small for sharing.

The ambience is really nice. A place to hang out with friends. No doubt, will come here again for a business meeting. We just had drinks and dessert but we were disappointed with the taste and flavor. Seems they wanna impress with the words but doesn't deliver. Haven't tried the food. Maybe my opinion will change soon.

Great food and service! Authentic Indonesian food with a chill ambience. The duck was really tender and the crispy soft shell crab and satays were both hits!

One of the main reason why i decided to try this place is to taste the bubur sumsum. It doesnt disappoint, although it doesnt blow my mind too. Mee goreng jawa is very well cooked, the wok smell is very fragrant and apparent. Iga soup is amazing. Very good combination and the meat is very tender. Service could be better. Ambience is a bit dark. I dont like how the smoking tables are in the same room as us. Food portion is very generous. Bandrek is amazing too.
