Wow... What is this cheesecake made of? This Hokkaido-style cheesecake was a jaw-dropping experience for us. We brought one Dore cheesecake home for Christmas and it ended up a sweet surprise. I don't think I can correctly explain but if I were to try... super uber milky and moist; sophisticated layered crustiness (you can feel it when you cut the cake); and long lasting soft sugary aftertaste. The cake was a bit smaller than conventional cakes. All in all, DORÉ by LeTAO is definitely going to be our cake spot for celebration!

One of the best Japanese cheesecake in Jakarta. The cake is really soft and also fulfilling at the same time. There are only few options to choose from, however those few would not disappoints. They also cooperates with few foodie apps for various promotions, make sure you're using those apps.

I came by Dore on a Sunday afternoon for a quick bite while strolling around Plaza Indonesia. It is that cute little corner on the building's level 3, dominated with grayish white and gold color with a classy vibe, this small corner definitely will attract passerby's attention. And I found out that they have this different theme apllied in each outlet (Gallery in Plaza Indonesia, Colab in Plaza senayan, Corner in Kelapa Gading, etc.). There was only 3 or 4 seating in the outlet, so it's not the type of spot where you could have your fromage while chatting, social-laughing, and scrolling through your timeline with pals since people come and go in such a brief. For the most part, the limited seating has something to do with the idea of you being in their display as a mannequin to show people that walk by how classy their cakes are. And I must say that their fromage is a fancy take on cheesecake.

I ordered original fromage and chocolate fromage, and they both were really...exquisite. I like the original fromage best, you could see by the slice that the cake has two layers; the top layer is like the thick creamy part whereas the bottom layer is the cheese part with a more solid texture, also finished with a velvety surface. It taste slightly different from most cheesecake you might've had, the fromage was lighter in taste, fresh, creamy with a hint of milk and cheese, a slice would be an understatement.

Then we had the chocolate fromage, still in 2 layer format, only the base layer was a chocolate cheese base with velvety chocolate cake soft crumble. The chocolate tasted light and toned down with a sheer cheesiness, not being overwhelming is a great success in mixing milky cheese and chocolate.

The staff were nice and friendly, that made the overall experience a pleasure despite the limited seating. More visits on a less-crowded hours!

Will be back again for the ice cream! Cake also yummy ????. You can choose original, strawberry, or chocolate for the cake. Affogato not available anymore. Small corner but okay.

It's good, I prefer American cheesecake but it's okay nevertheless. Tea is awesome (credits to Louis and carol). They have In-dining option but not exactly my favorite spot. The price is a bit expensive but it's Japanese cake, what do you expect?

In French, DORÉ means golden just like what we could see that their brand name is written in gold color. DORÉ by LeTao is famous for their fromage cheesecake. They also provide birthday cakes and baked goods.

On my birthday this year, my friend gave me a package of Original Hokkaido Roll Cake. This is a very soft Japanese milky roll cake filled with DORÉ signature cream cheese. Everything is super soft even when this roll cake is already in your mouth. The taste is less sweet as well. Don't forget to storage this roll cake inside the refrigerator.

Decent cake. You should try too. But i still prefer AMKC. Place is quite small.
