Freddy, Kenia and Jamal were the best „hosts“ you could wish for! It was truly amazing staying at old bativa. I can only recommend going there - super nice stuff, clean beds, several plugs per bed and nice hot showers!

Freddy is so welcoming from the get go, so helpful and accommodating. Good location and clean. Thankfully was nice and quiet when we went

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The lockers are huge and go in deep. Breakfast is hostel basic but does the job. Bunk beds are spacious and fully equipped with lights/charging points.

A few pieces of constructive feedback would be that the place feels like it needs a touch of maintenance and a lick of paint in my opinion.

Secondly, If both male and female toilets/showers were located on each floor that would be ideal!

Overall a good stay :)

Very nice hostel, staff super friendly u0026 helpful.
Beds comfy u0026 clean.
Two nice social areas.
My only recommendation is they don't have the music up so loud in the upstairs bar/seating area, as the volume it's played at makes having a conversation difficult.

I was here for 6 nights, and it is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. The staff are great - they are friendly and helpful, know all the guests by name, and really seem to care about making the place good. The beds are comfortable and give a lot of privacy, and the toilets and showers are clean. I am glad I stayed here, because I made a lot of new friends from the guests and staff, and having such a comfortable place to come back to made my time in Jakarta much more enjoyable. I will definitely be staying here again when I return to the city this year.
