The staff was not friendly. He didn't allow us to check the room before we book. The first time it ever happened to me after traveling 8 years+ in 40 countries in this world, and dozens of accommodation in Indonesia. We just left and stayed somewhere else. Also, they gave higher price on the spot than online booking.

Applewood actually located on the main road but they didn't put an eyecatching sign. Their one and only front door was disguised exactly beside Roti Unyil Venus.

I stayed here for 1 night in Superior room. The staff were nice u0026 friendly. For a homestay/hostel, their services were quite good. They were using a cardlock/rfid card system like we used to see in a big hotel. Superior room were pretty spacious, clean, tidy and homy. It was very comfortable. The fridge, coffee tea maker, TV, AC, hot water, all functioning very well. Since Applewood located in Bangbarung, it was easy to find places to eat, they were all over the place and you can explore your culinary taste in walking distance.

There was only one thing that worried me. The bathroom door was a bit jammed on the floor and the door handling had a glass crack. Like it could break anytime.

But regarding their price, their services u0026 facilities were excellent. If you are searching a place to stay for a long time with a good price, Applewood is a worth considering one.

Worth the price, but be carefull if you have children, the stairs is without railings

although the coridor to go into this hotel was small, but the room was nice and clean.
