We stayed for 2 nights during our trip to Ijen Volcano and it was perfect.
Tara and her husband were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast she made for us was delicious.
there are 3 room but only one has AC. As it is quite warm i can recommend you to choose the AC! A small kitchen with all necessary appliances and 2 toilets with shower. there is no hot water but it slso was not really cold and as the shower has an amazing pressure it is just perfect!
Tara's husband brought me to a cheap and easy scooter rental place so we could enjoy beautiful Banyuwangi!
Unfortunately the recommendation for the Ijen Trip was not good and I suggest you to find something by yourself.
but what ever has to do with the accommodation is 100% TOP!

Just wow! The couple that own the place make this the best homestay I have ever been to they can't do enough for you. Picking us up, driving us to the train station, booking tickets for us, the house is the cleanest place I've seen whilst travelling. Would love to return one day!

Just the fact that they took us up at karang ente and brought back at the train station, the breakfast, the hospitality, the infos given me straight away and all the small things they did for me and my girlfriend.. they deserve 10 stars. Rooms are just big enough for 2 people and there's a small but always useful kitchen and a garden. Couldn't ask for more. It's a homestay after all, and when travelling for long you will ask for a place like this.

Very friendly Family. Tara speaks great English and is super sweet. The accommodation is basic, but tidy and clean!
