Java Adventure Trail organized a wonderful trip for our family that brought us through Surabaya, Ijen, and Bromo among many other places. The tour manager Soyfan provided clear information (ie. what was included and not included) and was great at communicating via email to make sure everything went smoothly once we agreed on an itinerary. Our tour guide Albert was knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. We especially enjoyed his sense of humour and his efforts to ensure we had the best experience possible (even down to stopping at a local market to pick up ingredients for a home-cooked dinner during our excursion to Sukamade!). Accommodations were clean and restaurant stops were chosen well to ensure that we got to experience tasty local fare while still keeping the option open for western items (and had good food standards to ensure we wouldn’t get sick). The long drives were hair-raising due to Indonesian traffic but the experienced driver and his clean, air-conditioned car ensured that we arrived on time and safely. Overall, we really enjoyed our time in Java and would highly recommend Java Adventure Trail!

Amazing guided trek up to Ijen carter, highly recommend. Our guide was knowledgable, enthusiastic. Made sure we were safe and had fun at the same time. Tough trekking up but well worth it.
