This station is conveniently located close to the harbor, making it easy to walk between them. The station is always clean u0026 the staff is friendly u0026 helpful. There are many warungs nearby if you want to eat before or after getting on the train. Genose 19 testing is now available here. The nasal antigen test is also offered, but more expensive.

this is the easternmost station of the island of Java, the location is close to the port of ketapang, so if you are going to Bali you can get off at this station and walk about 10 minutes to the port to cross to the island of Bali!

this railway station name was "Stasiun Ketapang" but now its name is "Stasiun Banyuwangi Baru". This is the nearest rail station to the Ketapang Harbour. You are able to go to the Ketapang Harbour by just walking.

I could not believed we're on Banyuwangi central station at first. It's like we were in the middle of rice fields under coconut trees. I saw two mountain peaks a far. The surrounding is so green. It's also not far from Banyuwangi main port. Connecting east Jawa and Bali island. THe station building is spacious and clean.

Train station in Banyuwangi. It takes about 30 minutes to get here from the center of Banyuwangi regency.

It’s a pretty impressive station for the town, clean and easy to access. Tickets can be changed at the automated machines or purchased at the counter inside the air conditioned wait room. The staff was helpful in refunding an unused ticket and the checkin was rather straightforward. There are only two tracks so it’s easy to access the train from the platform. Trains are on time so that’s a plus.
