Bali Java Holidays was recommended to us by friends and it was a perfect match. We wanted to go from Yogya to Bromo and Ijen and then further to Bali. On their website, we found a four days trip with a private driver including guided visits at Prambanag and Borobudur. We had some special wishes (e.g. a drop of at Amed in Bali instead of Ubud), which was no problem for them at all. The communication, the booking process and the payment have been perfect. We never had to wait more than two hours for a reply. Also the organization (schedule, no delays, communication, information, paying process) and the equipment (cars, hotels, gas masks for Ijen, headlamps) have been very good. Safety was always first! And the drivers and guides have also all been amazing. Our driver was Dimas, a very smart, nice and secure driver. We had a lot of fun together and we learned a lot from him. He made us try all kind of indonesian food - Yummy yummy! He also took photos from us and send it via WhatsApp, great service. At Bromo, we‘ve been guided by Iwan, the big boss himself. He is also a great person and took a lot of wonderful photos from us. He is very talented and he knows the best spots. At Ijen, we had the chance to be guided by the young and experienced Rihyan. He knows so many things about volcanism and Ijen, it’s been a great pleasure to do the trip with him! He brought us to the ferry and to Bali at the end where we‘ve been picked up and safely and comfortably been driven to Amed by the very nice Mister I Dewa Gede Winata. In Banyuwangi, we had the chance to meet Susan, who is perfectly organizing the tours together with her colleague Riyan. Both are also very professional and very nice people. Summing up, we can say that everything was perfect before, during and after our trip - A very professional company with wonderful staff and guides! Back in November 2019, we did a 3D/2N tour with Bali Java Holidays and I can only recommend the tour and the company. They were great professionals, kind and everything was done as advised. I have to say that I was very sceptical to make a payment in advance online to Indonesia, but everything went perfect. We paid a small amount to make the reservation and they offered secure payments such us PayPal or TransferWise. They picked us up in Surabaya train station, drove to Bromo area, visited a Waterfall (I would not include it though, this comes as extra, and the road to the waterfall was closed). The next day we could see an amazing sunrise in the Bromo Sunrise Point. Then drove to Ijen area to do the trekking at midnight. We were able to see the blue fire, one of the most amazing experiences we’ve ever lived. After that, they transfer us to the boat and then drove us to Bali. Our guide and driver were very friendly, always asking us what we wanted to do. They provided water at all times and brought us to typical Indonesian restaurants, always asking what our preference was. If you are thinking about going to Indonesia, you cannot miss this tour.

We had the 3D/2N package and visited Mt. Bromo u0026 Ijen Crater (starting from Yogyakarta).
Bali Java had everything organized and basically we had to do nothing. They were panctual on the pick up times and the drivers were very polite, even offering us water for the road. The experience was amazing climbing both mountains. Ijen was quite challenging, but our guide made us feel very safe, being very patient, while literally holding our hand! We would definitely recommend it. The communication was great since the beginning by being very responsive and detailed on the given info. As for the hotels we stayed, the choices were really nice with the resort in Banyuwangi being exceptional. Wonderful guides and drivers, very helpful people, amazing sceneries!

Really well organised company, amazing people, impressive quality service, absolutely recommend them. We have chosen Ijen and Bromo tour. Best tour experience ever!

I found Bali Java Holidays by google search, I arranged the trip by email, before coming to Indonesia and I made the deposit by international bank transfer. Communication was quick and effective.

If someone is interested in getting more details I will describe it as following our tour on 05/08/2019:

Once We arrived to Bali I contacted them again to confirm our address in Ubud to be picked up. The day before our trip, we received a call from Susan to confirm the time that the driver will come for us. On the day of our trip the driver was punctual and he joined us crossing the ferry to Java. Once we get there, in Banjuwangi He introduced us to Cahyo the senior guide and Amin the driver. The experience was great, Cahyo asked if we wanted to have lunch before starting the second leg of the trip or eat later, the car was a spacious and comfortable, a van with plenty of bottles of mineral water for us.
Cahyo gave us complete information about Java island, its culture, industrial activities and latest volcanic activity in the island. We stopped for lunch an hour later before arriving to Bromo village.
Once we arrived at the Hotel in Bromo we had dinner, the hotel was cozy and clean. The day after we had a great weather, the sky was clean and Cahyo chose a great spot to be ready for the sunrise! We shared an amazing experience in Bromo and Ijen.

In summary the Trip was really well organised but you need to be ready for long hours driving.

For that I admire the passion and spirit of this team really focused in customer experience. All our gratefulness for their engagement, looking after us, our safety and comfort.

We had an amazing 3 days/2 nights private tour to Bromo and Ijen with this agency. We basically got a customized tour for a really reasonable price. We also had the best tour guide ever. Thanks to Cayho (tour guide) for these days, we had a blast. We would definitely recommend this tour agency.

We had unforgetable trip with them,all well organized and the guides were professional,they could explain everything we asked and ijen has many things to offer, beautiful blue fire,green crater lake,and we could learn about locals people life (miners)
