Worst night ever
Myself and my partner stumbled across this place our last evening in Java when we realised it had become too late to travel to Bali and find somewhere ro stay the same evening. On first appearance it looked like a pretty nice hotel, they drew us in with one price, only to show us a higher priced room and that the cheaper room size was all sold out. We eventually negotiated a fair price and after some confusion and possible wrong changing us, we agreed. The room is extremely basic, no wifi, no storage for our things, marks on the walls, a used ashtray and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. Cold shower in toilet room, but no towels, no toilet roll. When I asked for some, they did not understand, they spoke no english, and eventually provided us with a pack of tissues. No air con, the fan kept hitting the wall and getting stuck, making a noise and also kept stopping and starting. The beds had only a pillow and mattress sheet, I asked for blankets, to which they responded they don't do blankets, so no covers at all for sleeping. The room had a window out to the hallway which let bright light in all night, and due to location the mosque was very close and woke us up extremely loud with 4am prayers/singing, we used earplugs but noise was still very loud. Then at about 5am, local guests with a child started talking right outside our room and the child was shouting and they were all very loud for a long time until my partner got up and told them to be quiet. But the walls are extremely thin and even with earplugs, guests were continually noisy and loud throughout the early morning, meaning for a very bad night. This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed and I urge you to run a mile if you dare consider staying a night.
