Loved it, especially the 2nd floor area. Spacious working space, sofa, balcony, self-serving tea, water dispenser, and fast-connection wifi. Think i'd choose this over hotel for a short trip

Mr. Ario (owner) is very helpful, friendly, and trying to serve your needs. Room is clean. Provide hot water, coffee, tea and sugar. Quite place and also available public transport (angkot) to go to the city. Price is cheap.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rumah Sarwestri. I stayed for a month and it provided a fantastic living space whilst I was interning in Bandung from Australia. My stay here really added positively to my experience of Bandung city. The manager, Ario is a very friendly, welcoming and lovely host. He has a great attention to detail and looked after my needs really well. My stay here provided a comfortable and enjoyable place to be more connected to Indonesian customs and culture. If you're after great local tips, Ario is your guy. He has a huge knowledge of the local area and of Indonesia in general so I would highly recommend chatting to him to get to know more of the wild and wonderful country that is Indonesia!

Ario keeps the place well looked after, and I found that the house had everything I needed. (And more! It was delightful to play his guitar) I really could not have asked for a more helpful, caring and considerate host. Communication with him was easy and clear, and he has an efficient, helpful approach to the things he does. He ensured my comfort and ease during my stay, of this I am very grateful.

Rumah Sarwestri has my full recommendation- If I am ever in Bandung again I would surely stay again! The space also great as there is a kitchen, unlike many places I had surveyed. I had planned to cook alot but actually didn't do much at all! I ended up eating out pretty much all the time because Indonesian take away food was so tasty, quick and affordable. But there is that option of cooking or modifying dishes should you need. Otherwise there are plenty of food options a short walk away - adorable cafes, street food, restaurants. Location wise, it was fantastic. I enjoyed that the neighborhood had a relaxed vibe whilst being quite close to the city center.

The room was very comfortable, and I was able to work and study well. I have a bad back and am very particular about mattresses- I found the bed were dense and had good support and had no trouble sleeping. As an foreigner, I was not used to the regulations of other lodging places but I found Ario's place had freedom and understanding (about having guests over for example). Ario himself is very understanding and empathetic, with lots of great stories to tell. He was great company and a very interesting person to get to know. The house is spacious and easy going- you can interact with Ario and the other guests as much or as little as you like. To me, it was a space where I could really relax after a hard day's work. On weekends or after work, I had alot of fun engaging with Bandung's exciting culture.

Overall, a really wonderful stay.
I felt very at home at Ario's place and I hope you do too :-)

Clean, Homy, comfy, relaxing ambience guests house. Located in residence and quite silence. Good water heater. Owner is very kind

Best deal I have found so far. Whenever I need a place to stay in Bandung, this will be the place. Host is the best. I'm vegan and he tailord to my needs and schedule. I'm impressed.

Clean and comfortable budget homestay with nice and helpful owner. If you like it quiet then I recommend you to stay there even it is a bit far away from bandung downtown.

I love staying here. Affordable, with variety of room options, great hospitality, sometimes we can find friendly tourists and have some chitchat.
