Stayed here for a 2-day staycation and I’d say it’s a nice experience.
There was a promotion for Independence Day for about IDR417k/night for Standard Room. Standard room actually equipped with twin bed but we asked to switch it with double one and they said it’s available. When I checked the Guest Book, double bed is actually for Superior room and above, so it’s probably an upgrade.
The room is quite spacious though they didn’t cover the floor with rugs. Every bathroom has a bathtub and it’s decent. At first we couldn’t fill in the tub because the drain cap isn’t there but after making a short call the housekeeping promptly bring one to our room. The hot water runs well.
We got a view of the road in front of the hotel and the shopping mall nearby, but I suppose some rooms might get a glimpse of the sea behind the said mall.
The bed sheets are good and they changed them in on our second day. The AC works well too, but one thing that bothers us the first time we entered the room was the smell of cigarettes. It stinks so much despite the room is no-smoking. We called the housekeeping to spray some air fresheners but it barely helps with the smell.
There are mini fridge and safe box in the room. Mini fridge works well though it’s a bit dirty, but the safe box won’t lock. It’s no issue for us since we don’t use it.
Our reservation came with breakfast package for two. There are rice with its condiments, kinds of bread, small cakes, porridges and soups, fruits and salad, cereals, eggs, and even a station to cook your own instant noodles. For the drinks there are the usual coffee and tea, juice, infused water, and traditional drink but we always run out of the latter in our stay.
tl;dr it’s a pleasant stay but some things could be improved, nevertheless it’s worth the price.
