one of the mangrove conservation in Balikpapan, this is a good place to explore and have some knowledge about mangrove and other animal here, the place is so calm and quiet but so sad there is no proper parking lot around and need to more protect your belongings such helmet, vehicle, etc.

A quiet and peaceful place to be. Walk further into the mangrove until you can find some clearing and raised bridge. You can see a group of Bekantan on the trees around

This place has opportunities to be a good natural mangrove and tourist attraction point in Balikpapan. However, this place is not well managed. People can easily found trashes under the bridge and between the mangroves habitats, it was dissaponting. I wish people can be more aware of this problem.

The conservation area was so good but garbage everywhere, rest room was so bad u0026 leak of mangrove information. Hope Balikpapan government will involve fully
