This place has two big cannons from Japanese Army during World War II. Japanese Army used to be in Balikpapan, and these cannon is several of their weapon. This is not a monument or museum, just an area of water reservoirs from PDAM, but the cannons preserved in this area. Some locals said that there was more than two cannons, but only two preserved. This area is highest point around Kampung Baru, and from this point you can see the sea around Balikpapan. Maybe that's why Japanese Army put their cannons in this place. But nowdays it's hard to see the good view because this area is full of houses and trees.
