They claim “the best fish and chips on the island. “ I vouch for this wholeheartedly. It’s good, it’s proper good. I’ve been coming here since long ago, but it was my first time post covid and it didn’t disappoint. Still the same. 100k with ice tea. Very reasonable price for a substantial meal. Happy customer .

Very neighborly location - it seems like, and by the testimonials of my colleagues who live in the area - the place to go to for the locals. It’s has a lot of fans (No Aircon) and the roof opens up during sunny days. A lot of expats around - have a combination of the typical western food (steaks and stuff), but also Thai and Indian (from the restos next to it). Food comes surprisingly fast. Service is not spectacular or memorable; but not bad. food is OK, but not superb.
I came during lunch (quiet) however I heard at night it can be quite packed with the expats and locals. I would definitely come here again.
Steak was good! I thought it was a tad bit over the medium which I ordered; but it was tender nevertheless.

So I have been coming and going from here for 2 months I find the food is amazing top level for the price. The only thing I find is that the service is very very bad you will wait for a long time to see a server like you will get a drink finish it then wait for a long long time to get a next drink even with trying to eye ball it is such a shame. This is a good place but could very easy be made in to a great place

We have been coming here all the time for 6 months. But tonight beef stew for 95K was really over salted gravy with frozen peas and a few pieces of beef thrown in for good luck. It was inedible. This place is obviously going through cost cuts at the cost of customer, Avoid unless you want cheap cocktails ( they cut them too after the first one!)…

Recently refurbished British style pub. Good pub grub and reasonably priced. Great off licence also with good selection of wines and spirits priced well below supermarket pricing.

3 The Indefinite Journey (Brady and Shelly) - a month ago

Not in any way shape or form English fish and chips. No vinegar, soggy fries and lightly breaded soggy batter. Really Really disappointed. Only reason for the 3 stars is the staff and ambiance. The food is dreadful. Also got the Sheppards Pie and Nasty Nachos. Better off Bland Pie and ok...yes the nachos were actually nasty.

Most things on the menu are quite well balanced for value. Fish and chips, shawarma, English breakfast are pretty great. The sandwiches are underwhelming though despite the praise they build up on the sandwich page (see uploaded menu).

Imo best fish in chips in Bali and worth it for that. Decent draught beer selection, though they're missing Guinness at this English pub.
