I always make time to dine in this restaurant when I visit Bali. I love the food here - fresh, spicy, and tasty. I was a bit disappointed this time. The chicken was not tender at all. My fried tofu (not pictured) was blah too.

very local place specializing in chicken and fish. taste is actually quite good but the chicken is small and scrawny. vegs weren’t great and mie goreng is spicy and pretty good. service very quick. plenty of parking. a decent place for the area/street but not gonna blow anyone away. they have a small jewelry store in there as well.

The food was ok. Just like typical ayam taliwang, the portion is quite small so one chicken is for one person (or max 2 person if you eat in small portion). And i like their sambal terasi because it’s spicy.

I have been a regular visitor since 2000s.
Taste 5/5
I really love the PLECING KANGKUNG. Only 15k
The grilled chicken and plecing grilled chicken are legend. Not too expensive, 39k.
We payed 125k for 2 person lunch.
Place was not with aircon, no wifi, limited parking. But strategically located in jl. Raya Kuta.
Definitely will come back.

Probably one of the best Ayam Taliwang I've tasted. Soft and succulent and quite delicious. This place isn't too fancy, but come here for the taste!
Taste : 4/5
Service : 3/5 not bad, waiter came quickly, food also came fast (albeit we came in the evening)
Price: 4/5 quite reasonable,
Atmosphere : 2/5 unpretentious, simple. Lots of seats.
Recommended : grilled chicken Taliwang.

Pricy. A portion of chicken is around 40k and is only enough for one person. Can't say much about the taste though as this is my first time eating Taliwang chicken

Still okay. Not as good as the original. The vegetables is okay. But the chicken could be better. A little bit run down. And old. Not as clean as standard.
