I found this Homestay on Airbnb and read all the great reviews.
I only booked for a week at first, but ended up staying almost 4 months.
I was doing a lot of cleansing and detoxing for the time of my stay, so I needed somewhere calm but still close to the beach and all the health food places in canggu. So it was a perfect location at R88 for that.
Also I am very picky when it comes to hygiene and I found it very clean. The towels where nice and fresh (I've visited other people's homestays and most towels where pretty smelly). Also the bed sheets where changed often and super white and clean. I usually can't sleep with the air conditioning on but this one was great to regulate and didn't turn the room into a fridge :) . The pool was clean and maintained well. But didn't smell to much like chlorine.
Angga is there 6 days out of 7 to clean and is super friendly. He helped me to organize transports and with all other information I needed. As well as providing emotional support on days I didn't feel so well...The balinese friendliness is unique and truly heart opening.
Would recommend this place and would come back any time.

This place is located on the end of a quiet alley, but close to many cafes. The pool is relaxing and clean. I had an upstairs room with a balcony, beautiful view and a nice breeze. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The wifi is strong, which is definitely a plus around these parts. The only downside is that the TV is only the local language. I know what you're thinking, but when it rains so hard that you can't go outside, I'd like to be able to chill and watch a good movie. You can rent a motor bike here as well as catch a cab. I'd stay here again, cash only though.

The best $20 guest house you will stay at. Super clean, hot and modern shower, powerful toilet, freezing AC and they clean your room every day if you like. Not to mention, I love the staff here. They not only are nice and friendly but helpful! I am not an expert as I’ve only stayed in a total of 5 other places in Bali, prices ranging up to like 60-70$ a night and like this place at way less and has the cleanest and best rooms and bathroom combination. It’s basic decor but you have a balcony and also KING SIZE BED. I would 100% stay here again.

Also the pool area is beautiful. I didn’t use but it looks gorgeous.
