i think this local guest house price was skyrocketed. Having information start 1 million something per month, increase up to 2 million and now 4.7 million for same room maybe just 9 sqm2. Maybe just because Australia traveller are back. I can say that the winning thing from this local guest house just location and close to traditional market. More than that nope, if you wish peace and calmer place with reasonable price find other place. Need to improve for longer stay price and increasing facilities instead of just increasing the price with short notice announcement. With almost 5 million you can get better one

We stayed here for a week and for the price paid, thought it was very good value.
The positives:
- central location
- cheap and tasty breakfast service
- great bed and linen
- friendly staff
- if you book room with balcony you get the whole floor to yourself
- nice clean pool

Negatives:
- some bad water smell from shower
- road noise
- no lift if you need one, lots of stairs
- nearby to a Mosque that plays a loud prayer every morning at 4am and will wake you up
- some communication issues... reception did not have full details of our booking on arrival and asked us to prove that we had paid, which was hard to do through Wotif as the receipt only had flight and accomm package together. This was pretty stressful but an hour later the girl at front desk was satisfied we were paid up.
- surrounding streets are very narrow with no footpath.

Would recommend if you are on a budget.

I absolutely enjoy staying in Pudi Homestay. The staffs are super nice and the communication is amazing. Their smiles often make my day. I do feel extra cared a lot. And the staffs are super helpful for sure. So much so I (and my bf) extended my stay here for a whole month.

Pudi Homestay is also quite central in Canggu. You can basically go to anyplace from here. Indoor pool is very clean and nice. I love it.

WiFi working very well. (WiFi in Every floor. I had lots of company meetings and they all work amazingly fine.)
Even better, there’s a smart TV in the room which makes the night very sweet, like home. Just very chilling.

The only thing that I feel it’s actually not a big deal for me is that the traffic noice and prayers in the morning.
At the end of the day, I think traffic is everywhere in Canggu.
it’s just part of the culture you got to adapt into unless you stay somewhere further away.

We have also got used to the prayers in the early mornings too. Everything is quite fine.

(One small thing is that I love order packages online, and Pudi Homestay is such a great spot to receive packages. Every driver just found it perfectly without any communication. I love it ????) Anyway, I recommend it :)

- high price with low quality of service and facilities
- the room is not clean!
- the bed sheet and blanket were not clean
- they didn’t clean our room well. We complained. They cleaned. But there’s no significant change
- The room is small
- You can hear noises from vehicles. Not a good place for working from your room

I was staying in Pudi Homestay for a month last month. My experiences such as below :
Positive :
- Strategic location in main road, easily to find any kind of meals and close to traditional market
- Clean shared pool and kitchen
- Helpful and warm staff Mas Komang and Mbak Ani
- I love the details in third floor, used to work there everyday
- Fast wifi if you are working online
- Including electricity and free water

Negative :
- In my second first day they informed me to increase IDR 200,000 if i would like to extend, and now the average price for same facilities from one bedroom can be charged higher up to IDR 500,000 (Maybe supply and demand since Bali is reopened now)
- Slow response from Pak Dito as owner, last texting him about extending my stay not replied yet.
- Hardly to fall asleep since close to main road and noisy condition
- Smaller size for working desk, not comfortable to work inside the bedroom
- Small cupboard for long stay

Definetely fit to your budget, if you need just to sleep and spend the night but for working in whole day from bedroom thinking again due to hustle bustle road.

Good place on the center of Canggu. Range price that available on 2 million average complete with Fast WiFi, cafe, private room and pool. One of best choice for now.

A super comfort place to stay for the night in Bali, especially for its cheap price. I really feels like home. The only thing I realize is that they keep the room and its surrounding clean always!! One more, the place is kinda strategic that I can easily go anywhere. My rate actually more than 5 stars lol. Will always be back here whenever off to Bali ;)❤
