We were looking forward to two nice days in Bali until we came to Hotel Natia.
First we had to pay 120k at the entrance to this complex to get to the hotel.
Please note that the rate does not include taxes, the pres increases by a lot. We had to pay 140 euros for 2 nights. Then we wanted to speak to the manager as the receptionist does not speak English. The manager didn't seem interested in speaking to us personally and the lady at the front desk could not help us. We also had to specify an exact time when we would like to have breakfast because there are no official times for it here.
Since we are around 7 p.m. arrived we still wanted to go out to eat after a long travel diary. Unfortunately the complex is from 7 p.m. closed and no one left on the street.
The whole area is super boring. You can visit the temple, yes, but you are not allowed to go in there, so you entered it from the outside. There is also no beach for swimming or surfing.
We have the following to complain about:
- 120k to get to the hotel
- room prices are wrong
- Staff busy with their cell phones, chatting and eating
- our rommersice tableware was in front of the door for two days and was not picked up
- got no information at the reception that everything closes from 7 p.m
- Manager has no interest in guests
- nothing is open anymore at 7 p.m. (restaurants, bars)
- desolate boring location of the hotel
- overpriced
- breakfast not really good
- slow wifi with crashes
- nice bathtub but unfortunately no hot water
- There is only one parasol at the pool, if it is occupied you are in the blazing sun
- whole area very dark in the evening
Unfortunately we cannot recommend it at all, we had such wonderful accommodations but this is not one of them.
