Our local driver brought us here as it was told to us this is an extremely popular place with the locals. Place was fully packed and we decided to do a takeaway.

I had the fried chicken and added a side of prawns. The chicken was delicious, crispy and juicy at the same time and the prawns were pretty big as well, not the usual small cocktail prawns. The sambal chili was really really spicy, you have been warned! Just try a little first and add more if you can take it. All in all, a very good local dining experience.

Very spicy sambal. As indonesian i cant take it. I dunno with foreigner. They might burn their mouth with fire.

Package cost u around 50k. With rice and condiments.

Food was delicious. And staff was friendly.place was clean and comfy.

I fond Nasi Tempong Indra from Google map and I decided to come this restaurant because of the number of reviews.

About 30 minutes drive from Kuta, It is local people come to eat, the reception he can speak English and help me to order the food. Appreciate that

My dish was deep fried chicken, fried tofu, steam mix veggies with rice. Taste was so yummy and very tasty. I love the red sauce so much. It was combination of spicy, salty, and sour.

They did not bring spoon and fork,but I saw some local people request spoon and fork. I think you can ask the servers if you are not comfortable with using your hand.

This branch is hugeee so rest assured that you will get a seat. They have a lot of waiters circling the place at all times, but the restaurant is so crowded (we were there on a Saturday at 8.30 PM) that it could get tricky to get their attention. But be patience, if they’ve already taken your order, your food will be on the table within minutes, and it will be deliciously SPICY. I personally like the chicken more than the duck as the latter tasted fishy. The chicken is cheaper too, but matter of preference really. All in all, do go to Nasi Tempong Indra when you’re in Bali (any branch), they’re great.

The highlight of my experience is the tempeh and tofu here, anything else is rather reliant on their special sambal (chili) sauce. The chili sauce is so spicy your tummy will hate you later. This place is so packed though, everyone seems to love their sambal that I hardly see any empty space in this huge restaurant. Amazing!

This place got recommendation from many people therefore i visited the restaurant. Turns out this resto selling various kind of dishes from chicken to fishes. A very simple menu, all in package of tempe, tahu, ikan asin and lalapan. I ordered Empal and it was crunchy yet salty but it has good taste. The tempe and tahu was nicely fried and i dont eat lalapan. Drinks was okay, standard ice tea, juice and others. Food starts at IDR 50k++ and sweet ice tea will cost you idr 15k. When i visited, it was packed with guests, had to share table. All in all, its great for tourist as the price is compareable with cafe.

Came here at night for dinner. It was so crowded and some of the menus aren't ready for order. I ordered the fried duck and it came set with boiled vegetables and fresh sambal. Overall taste was delicious, sambal was super spicy as described and known, fried duck was crispy and juicy. A long queue to pay at the cashier. There is a cracker section which you have to pay with cash.
