Stayed one night.
Hotel is located right in the heart of Seminyak and thus everything is pretty accessible by foot. Though it would be a bit of a trek to the beach.
The hotel itself is nice enough. It’s situated in a bit of a weird way being on top of street-side shops. You take a little turn off and then walk up stairs along the back side of the building to the office/kitchen/lounging area. Once you’re up the stairs, you find yourself in a cool garden setting. The pool area is especially serene and relaxing. Breakfast was not included, but for 40K the hotel staff made us a lovely American breakfast. There was filtered water available to fill water bottles or make tea/Nescafé. The kitchen area is available for guests to use during the day.
I stayed on the top floor, room 10. The room itself is nice with a desk, closet, safe, big fridge, and little wardrobe area that so many place in Bali seem to have. Everything was very clean and organized. The bathroom was good but a bit stuffy. They do have an automatic air fresher that sprays which was a nice touch.
Some small issues: the AC was not very powerful. It worked well enough, but we had to keep it on full blast to keep the room comfortable. The door to the room is glass and lets in the light from the hallway. And as is the case with most places in Seminyak, there was a lot of noise from the street and the roosters that never seem to stop making noise, regardless of the time of day.
Overall, for the price, it’s hard to beat the location of the hotel. It wasn’t perfect, but we had a nice time for the one night we spent there. I especially enjoyed the humour injected into the signs around the hotel.
