I visited Bali in 2019, shortly before the Covid outbreak. I stayed at the J-Hotel 8n Kuta on Jalan Raya Kuta. Perfect place to have a home base when on holiday of you're by yourself or with another. Cheap, friendly staff, all round peaceful experience for me. I'm chomping at the bit to come back to Bali. I miss the place so much.

I really like the strategic location of the hotel! Unfortunately the quality of the rooms is still not as expected. The room lights are too dim and some even turn off so that it becomes dark. Hopefully this can be an improvement in the future. Thanks :)

Small and clean room for a budget hotel. The staffs were nice and friendly. They provided water dispenser in case you need hot water but don't forget to bring your own bottle. The location is superb. You can find many shops that sell souvenirs, snacks and foods. There are lots of convenient stores as well.

Everything was satisfactory for me and it would be score of 5 if the towel provide were actually clean enough. Been staying there for 4 nights and the 3 nights the towel provide were have dirty mark around the towel. If all the towel were inspected and actually provide total clean towel and discard the dirty towel, would be score of 5 for me. Breakfast was okay, because not much choice to begin with. Daily were almost same with just 1 or 2 dish different daily, if have main ingredient for morning breakfast would be great such as simple omelet, cereal and noodles perhaps.
