This place is amazing. They say you come in as a guest and leave as family. That couldn’t be more true. The staff are great people and want nothing but to help you have an amazing time in Bali. They will also get a motorbike dropped off at the hostel for you, as well as laundry services, etc. I stayed in the male dorm which was always very clean and had good air con. The beds are also comfortable. The environment at the hostel is very conducive for interaction with the other travelers. Nusa Dua in general is much more relaxing than kuta or other parts of the island. While modern, it still has a rustic feeling to it. Everyone should stay here if you’re in Bali. Even if I stayed on another part of the island I would make it a point to at least come out and visit house of d16.

Was going to travel around the south of Bali for one week and move hostels on the regular, but after finding this place there was no bone in my body that wanted to find another place. The staff is friendly beyond belief with unmatched hospitality, they really put in effort to make you feel at home, and it didn't go unnoticed. Would recommend staying here for people all ages! 10/10

Amazing hostel to stay at!! Can't recommend this spot enough - great price, great location, clean, BUT most of all the hosts are so friendly!! They treat you more like family than clients and ensure you get local prices and help with anything you need (renting scooters, tours, food, etc). Stay here for an amazing experience of Bali

A really cool place to stay, the guys running the hostel are amazing and their energy and friendliness creates the atmosphere. Was sad I had to leave, it was like a home to me. I will definitely stay there next time I'm in Bali. Couldn't recommend this hostel anymore!

They truly take the time to make you feel at home and a part of their family. They go above and beyond to make sure you get local prices for events and food and they create a fun and welcoming atmosphere. When I come back to Bali I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Really cool hostel, great location in Nusa Dua if you're into surfing. Swimming pool area is nice for chilling out, social chats and playing guitar. What's more the staff is also very nice, they also deserve a 5*.

I was instantly greeted as I hopped off my Gojek with warm smiles, a cold cup of iced tea, and answers to all my questions. They helped me book an unforgettable tour to Mt Ijen, served delicious breakfasts, helped me socialize with other guests, were patient as I repeatedly asked for Indonesian translations, and helped give me a crash course in Indonesian currency. There is a hammock outside next to the pool as well as plenty of couches for relaxing. There is usually music to be heard, whether from the radio, Dani the Guitar God playing some beautiful melodies, or a community jam session. Overall quiet in the evenings and everyone was very respectful. The beach is a close walk away and down the street is a food court. There is plenty of shopping available, laundromats close and parking for scooters. There is an ATM, bank, grocery store and Circle K all a close walk away. WiFi is strong in the community area as well as bedrooms. The rooms have air conditioning, some have individual curtains for the beds, in suite bathrooms, clean sheets, and comfortable mattresses. We were also lucky enough to watch a firework show from the upper balcony. I felt so safe, at home and comfortable my entire week stay at House of D16 and I cannot wait to return!
