The overall was great but... there is a but. Hotel is great, swimming pool is beautiful but no restaurant nor bar as it was supposed to be (the description said there was). There is no transportation and the staff never helped us catching a taxi. Like we were quite lost in the middle of nowhere without knowing where to eat, where to go or just where to find transportation. This might be due to covid but we felt like it was definitely missing something for us to spend a perfect time. This place has so much potential but once again. Small inconvenience in the bedroom, air cond stopped working or the shower has a mall pressure. If that's adjusted it might be wonderful

The property is definitely overrated. It has the potential to be an amazing experience for people staying there but its a let down. I think the property was shut for a long time during Covid and so has not been well kept. We stayed on the upper level villa. However, the furniture, doors, beds, wooden flooring in the room needs to be repaired. The CURTAINS...OMG. The day curtains had cobwebs all over them and were torn. The TOWELS...well, please replace them. Its too old and looks very dirty. The linens in the rooms also need replacement as there are so many stains on them. They also feel damp as there's hardly any fresh air circulation in the room. The pool too was dirty, although we saw the staff clearing the leaves, there was a layer of oil that could be seen. None of the people living the resort tried to get into the pool during our stay. I'm sure they also had the same complaint. The crockeries kept in the restaurant area were also dirty and had insects on them. Definitely not worth the value. Atleast cleanliness should be the first step towards running a property anywhere.

The only saving grace was that the staff was very helpful and fulfilled our requests. But for the above matters, theres nothing that could be done. the hotel needs a makeover.

Brilliant place to stay. The room was really comfortable, the exterior and swimming pool were gorgeous and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. We stayed there for 3 weeks in between trips away, and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience.

Big beautiful bedroom with great view, but a bit old fashioned (would need new furniture for clothes, tap and shower hose,...)

We had such an amazing stay here! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, bed was super comfy and the property is beautiful. This is such a little gem of a place to stay! Amazing prices and if we ever find ourselves back in Bali we will be staying here.

This place was so great on our first two nights in Bali, we ended up booking there again for our last night in Bali. Such a great way to start and end our trip.

Unfortunately something came up and I couldn't stay at Dewani. Despite letting them know 2 days ahead of time, I couldn't get a refund for cancelling, which is understandable. However, after trying to ask the staff and owner if they could compensate at least something, even 25%-50% of the total cost as a refund (as I booked for 5 nights but didn't stay there at all, not even for 1 night), they weren't willing to help at all. Can't recommend this place for that reason, if anything goes wrong they won't be willing to help. The accommodation and rooms seemed nice from what I saw briefly, so if you're 100% sure you will stay there it might be an okay option.

‘Amazing’

We got to stay in the room with the bathtub, the room was very spacious, much bigger than we expected. The gardens of the hotel where spectacular and the breakfast was also very good. The staff was lovely and really helpful.

As we mentioned before we really loved our stay there, however the villa needs to be renovated a little bit.
