Bebek Tempong (55K IDR) here is AMAZING!! It's hard to find large quantities of vegetables in Indonesian restaurants so I adore it here. Cute, outdoorsy tropical vibe. Sitting cross legged in a little covered hut thing, or in the adjoining room with antique inspired furniture and decor. Great experience overall. Will be back again and again!

This place is really special. What catches your eye first is the forniture and the beautiful works of art on the wall. This place is really special because is not just beautiful; the owner is gentle and kind, the food is tasty and really cheap. It’s not the usual hipster restaurant, it’s the perfect combination between authentic indonesian food and really good energy

Beautiful warung in a spacious open space room decorated with great taste in both the furniture and the paintings on every wall. The owners are friendly and kind, the food is very good and the prices are extremely cheap (45k for a nasi campur with a whole fish – which was perfectly cooked – on the side). The only downside is the road right next to the open doors, with scooters constantly passing by and disrupting the otherwise peaceful atmosphere, but this is a minor issue: would definitely recommend.

Best for local fusion food. Love the Nasi Timpong and sambal. Don't forget to drink the ginger Tarik Tea, warm and sweet.

I've been being their costumer more than 2 years and always satisfied, the food is good and the waiters very kind, nice and friendly
But yesterday I went there with a group of friends that never been there before.
One of the waiters very rude since beginning we were arrive, and keep rude and unpolite gesture during the time we ate. And after finished he settle the payments and he was very rude saying that the bills not supposed to be split and in the end he accusing us not paying the extra two sambals, I mean it's only 15k sambal that of course we will pay it if we consume it, he make drama in the front of other people there and keep accusing us and in the end when one of our friends want to pay and end the drama he said no need to pay because no one in our group being honest about who consume the extra sambal... What the hell!!! I will not go there anymore if that old rude guy still there.. Feel sorry for other nice people there...

One of the waiter was super rude, even when he was counting the total price. He kept pestering us saying we need to pay 2 extra sambals. We decided not to fight this crazy guy so we want to pay for this ridiculous sambal, then he said we don't need to pay since we don't acknowledge it (while still showing rudeness). What the hell this guy want ???

Great authentic food, wonderful sambal.
Specialised in Nasi Tempong- rice steamed in a leaf, meat of choice, steamed greens, salty fish and sambal. I recommend the grilled (bakar) chicken or duck over the fried (goreng). Fish is also delicious. This is a super place to try truly local tasting food that is prepared fresh. Order as soon as you have decided, as the food takes time to prepare.
