Let's set the mood. Firstly. It's a gorgeous sunset on our first night in Canggu and we are approached by the kindest gentlemen named Donat. (Pronounced Donut). His approach was Kind and sincere and we were happy to listen to him explain to us this new restaurant. We were happy to give it a try thinking nothing of it. We put it off for about 4 days. We stayed literally across the street. It's our second last night in Bali and we decided we needed to come here for Donat. After a horrible experience at Finns. We were welcomed like a royalty to the captains table. The most amazing welcoming atmosphere that felt like a cruise ship. Their chef from the four seasons had a beautiful menu. Their bartender just finished 3 years on a cruise. Merta was great energy. Amazing cocktails. Amazing food. Best service in Canggu. We were greeted with cold towels. Which I have come to love. Agung was our server and he was delightful. The staff are so excited about this new restaurant. There was two traditional Balinese dancers who put on 2 shows for us. We took pictures and loved the traditional Balinese outfits to try on. Then there was a live acoustic performance by a staff member who absolutely rocked the stage. Overall it was one of my favorite dining experiences in Bali. Great prices. Great people. Come grab a seat at the captains table.

Very welcoming place. Staff is super nice, friendly and helpful. Tried some food and it was good. Pizza was a bit dry but Caesar was tasty. Even leaves were good to eat. They have nice live music on some of the evenings

Just had the whole snapper - AMAZING!! Absolutely delicious! The staff were super friendly, even remembering our names every time they spoke to us, and so good with my 4yo too. Large, open, ocean themed restaurant, nicely decorated, with a large kitchen that looked very clean u0026 professional. We were made to feel very welcome, I highly recommend.

From the outside it doesn't look anything special, after walking in you see the detail that has gone into this place.

The staff are by far the best part of the restaurant, warm, genuine and really make you feel comfortable. Food was well presented and tasted great.

Even though it wasn't busy the atmosphere was fun and friendly (well done Deva and migila) Plus the live acoustic singers were the best I'd heard in a long time. Will be going back.

SERVED RAW CHICKEN - avoid unless you want to be very sick. Restaurant is very dark so hard to tell.

Had the best experience here at Captain's Table. Service was incredible, everyone was so nice and cheerful. Happy to have a chat. Food was delicious and extremely well priced. They played 'Waves' by Robin Schulz about 10 times over the music system which was hilarious. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

The owner and the staff were very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. There was amazing live music and a great vibe. The singer was also our waiter and took the time to learn and remember everyone in the restaurants name!
