We ate here two occasions a few weeks ago.
We ordered fresh prawns and fish that were grilled at the front of the restaurant with a little garlic butter.
We went in the earlier part of the evening (about 5PM) and received a 20% discount on the seafood. I think there is discounted fresh seafood from 4pm to 7pm from memory.
The prawns and fish were grilled to perfection and for about $17 AUD we had really enough food for 2 people. We paid extra for sides and drinks. The seafood was between $1.35 AUD to $1.75 AUD per 100 grams after discount. This included cleaning and cooking the food.
The taste was amazing and cooked to perfection.
The staff were very helpful and attentive.
The toilet facilities need some upgrading.
We will definitely return for another seafood meal next time we are in Bali.

Finishing off my late happy hour Bintang, which the supervisor generously accommodated even its past 8pm. I can only deduce this place gets a bad rep due to lost in translations...

I was walking passed Blue lobster post a G20 conferences, and saw a fresh decent sized Mahi Mahi displayed. As it turns out, its IDR 150K++ which is unheard off this side of Bali. I use pay 100K or 250k at Nook / Sarong for 150 grams. And boy did this 1.1Kg fish turned out well. Slightly charred, whole fish on the grill/ felt like i was living on a beach ala Youngblood / Aquatic Apes style..

The fresh and 'smallish' size Mahi went down a treat, especially with the spicy lemongrass chutney.

Having had a look at their alacarte menu, i knew straight away they will have disappointed diners.. their menu was priced too low, hence the portions will be tiny. Bad reviews ensues..

Granted, the 'facilities'.of the restaurants is not good, but i've seen worst in Hanoi / Hoi An. I'm hopeful they can improve...

In conclusion, come here if you know your seafood and whole fishes, especially Mahi Mahi. Forget fancy stuffs, as this aint Michelin star joint.

Jimbaran without the beach frontage. Enjoy, i certainly did.

The service was friendly, but the meal was awful. Shrimp cocktail... with almost no shrimp. Two meals of over priced, over cooked lobster tougher than old boots. Very disappointing.

The worst restaurant we have ever had in our experience on Bali. Judging by the prices you would expect quality or size or service. But you get none of the above. Food is overcooked and portions are tiny. We are not very demanding in terms of portions but we had to have a snack after. Service is not aggressive to say the least, you have to ask several times so that they do it right. Waiting time is enormous, so not the best experience.
Avoid this place is my recommendation

Do not eat here! My wife got food poisoning due to the undercooked or not properly stored food.
We ordered the jumbo shrimp and tempeh/tahu.

The shrimp seemed a bit of and was a bit smelly. It also looked a bit glassy. There was something not right with the taste. The tahu was sour.

The restaurant charges service charges and taxes after the order has been placed. Our total amount was about 420.000 ipr.

Walking back to the hotel we feared the aftermath. During the night she made many urgent bathroom visits while have stomach cramps.

Right in front of the bbq grill area there also was a sewer drain that was open and was giving a strong smell.

Very bad experience.

We were really looking forward to a seafood meal and decided to go to the Blue Lobster at kuta Bali. It was the worst decision. After waiting along time, my cold tiny meal came out, a tiny steak, about 8 strings of chips and 3 carrots ( they class as the vegetables) I was almost finished mine and obviously because of the size only took a few minutes. My husbands meal came out about 10 minutes after I finished mine.
He ordered a lobster which looked big on the plate but the lobster meat had been taken out and a tiny amount had been added back in with a mixture totaling about 4 tablespoons.
The supposedly garlic bread consisted of 3 pieces of half buttered bread. This bad food and service cost us $60 and we were still hungry and had to eat somewhere else spending more money. DO Not risk going there, so bad!!!! I wish I took a photo to show how small the meal was????

Seafood was very tasty we western not so much
I ordered a steak and it was very saltyyy but juicy a shame that the salt ruined it for me.
The two stars deducted was because of service was very slow and haphazard . Mains served before appteziers and my husband full meal served while I waited for mine.
I also felt there was discrimination for locals, my husband is indonesian and he ordered in indonesian language, we were seated and waited for 20 mins and then I noticed that all the other tables with" bule" that arrived AFTER us where getting free welcoming garlic bread. We called a waiter and asked her why didn't we get any and she said ours was being cooked in the oven. For 20 mins?
Also double check the bill they had a 20 percent off for dining in that they forgot to deduce at the end.
