It's been 11 years since I last stayed in this hotel. The rooms are still old and dirty. The shower curtain is mouldy. The pillow is still in need of replacing. However the staff are friendly and accomodating. No towels in the room. You need to ask from reception and then also you get small old towels that barely cover your body. Breakfast is just simple toast, eggs and orange juice.

The grounds are nice and I like the traditional style villas. However when I was there the swimming pool looked like a neglected bird bath and the internet barely worked at all. There was also no shower in the room - simply a bath with a shower head that you needed to hold. The staff were all very nice though. For the same price you can definitely find better.

For the price you pay per room the rooms aren't too bad. Always given the same cottage and the staffs remember us and very friendly to us. The Balinese staff at this resort are exceptional. You just can't name everyone as they are all outstanding, from security to ***agement.

The first room the lights didn’t work, bath was mouldy and wasn’t even a shower.
Moved rooms to one with a shower which was better but only had cold water
Breakfast was only toast and eggs if you ate them with a plate of fruit. Basic.
they don’t supply towels for the pool and when I asked for some, they just denied and told me to use my shower towel. Didn’t think I was asking for much considering there was only 6 other people staying at the hotel.
The lock on my second room wouldn’t unlock so my friend and I would climb in and out of our room via the window.
Beds are uncomfortable, hard and noisy which made my back sore and I kept waking up
Most of the staff was nice which is probably the only positive aspect of the hotel
It’s an old hotel so don’t go there expecting much, regardless of all the positive reviews from others

Front desk staff were lovely and it was no hassel for me to get to my safety deposit box every day. The staff are always helpful and reliable. Great breakfast-enjoyed their dinner as well clean rooms. We plan to stay again before we fly out from Bali in a couple of weeks time.

Happy we got a deal for $18 a night! The pool is really nice, everything else is seriously lacking and I'd be furious if we had paid the full price! Wouldn't dare use the shower in the room as its yellow/tinge green, doors don't lock properly from the inside, waitresses are always in a bad mood, ordered from the lunch menu and got a sigh and 'fine' .. 45 mins later, tasted great but nothing special. The 'bar' is only open if you can find someone to serve you. If you check in between 11pm and 5am it'll take about 20 mins and then you have to ask for directions to your room, for your included free water and the wifi password only given on request.

Loved the outside. Good swimming pool and good staff specialy the security staff. Safe place to stay. Room clean but can do better. And little bit old but with the air con and nice view from the balcony.
