This stall is very popular, but to me nothing special.
Chewy and tough empal, bad texture rice, tasteless bland soup.. the only good thing is the sambal.
The worst is the price..27 thou for such empal rice with soup and 2 pieces tahu bacem, without drink…
What a dissapointed, totally over-rated

The "empal" (processed sweet beef) tastes so soft and great. It is quite cheap, only Rp 15k for rice, soup, and empal. This place is like hidden gem, you have to take narrow street. The place is NOT the exact pinned on Google Map. Before Mandiri Bank in Adisucipto Street, turn left, and the first intersection turn right. Follow the road until find the place (on the left of the street).

Best menu is nasi empal with soup plus some tempe goreng. Empal has some sweet note, unlike common empal out there.
