Worth it for the money! We can make tea or coffee, the place is clean and cozy, and the location is near UGM.

I stayed for around 3 months, and it was one of my best!
The people are friendly and they know how to make your day.
Nice room, comfort area, delicious food (if you are lucky the owner will serve you a coffee).

Thank you for all this time, food, stories, moments, and everything I had here!
Hope will come back soon!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money and, best of all, it is the first really clean place we have found in Indonesia. The Wifi signal was not good and the rooms are interior (they do not have exterior windows).

Very comfortable and homey hostel for those traveling across Java. The beds are comfortable, there are plenty of communal washrooms. A tasty packaged breakfast is provided. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped me to book train tickets and they helped my friend to arrange a bus and ferry to his next destination. They gave us plenty of advice and made us feel right as home. Thank you to the SleepingRook staff!!

I stayed at The Sleepingroom Hostel for fifteen days and it was an amazing experience. The facilities are clean, spacious, and homey. I stayed in the mixed dorm room and found that everyone who came through was polite and friendly. The staff make it their first priority to help you, and so this hostel really connect you to anything you need in Jogjakarta - transport, tourist destinations, food. I can't stress enough that the place really feels like a home more than a hostel; there is a kitchen that you can use and a living room with tons of TV channels. The outdoor space is stunning and great to hang out in. Overall the best experience I could've asked for! Will definitely miss living in The Sleepingroom Hostel.

The sleeping room hostel is a very nice and comfortable place to stay in. It feels like home. Though we had last minute trouble with the room we booked, I still give them two thumbs up for a very warm hospitality they showed to us. There are a lot of good things to say about this hostel. The place is clean, the food is good (according to my preference), the bed(pillow, blanket and all) is clean, the wifi is good, shower room is good( though hot water is not readily available anytime you wish to use it), and most of all the STAFF ARE VERY ACCOMMODATING. They answer the questions we ask them to the best that they can. They offer help or try to help whenever needed and they make sure that you got everything you need.
Indeed, if you are trying to look for a place to stay in Jogjakarta, I definitely recommend THE SLEEPING ROOM HOSTEL.

I was given a clean bed in a shared room with AC. There were at least a few shared bathrooms, and all of them were kept very clean.

The hostel looks like it used to be a large home. The common area is basically a living room with a TV, couches, a dining table, and free drinking water, coffee, and tea.

The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and open to conversation.

I would definitely stay here again if I ever find myself in Jogjakarta.
