This place is amazing! Already when you arrive, you are impressed with the decoration and plants. Also the place is very clean, cozy rooms and comfy beds (we slept like babies after some though nights). Breakfast choices change every day, and are very good. But the most amazing of this hostel is the staff, they are so kind, always ready to help and always happy to see you. They provided us with endless tips and highlights of Yogyakarta, and even made sure we were comfortable after check out when we had to take a late train that evening. Needless to say we were quite sad that we had to leave after 3,5 days. Definitely recommend this place, best hostel experience I ever had ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an amazing time at Snooze! Genuinely the best hostel we've stayed at full stop. The staff was super friendly and incredibly helpful, sorting out tours for us and giving us lots of recommendations on where to go and what to do every day.
The room was super nice too, cloudy bed/mattress gave us the best sleep and even though only a fan no AC it was still a very nice temperature in there.
The breakfast that came with the room was great too, freshly made every morning and you had the option for a sweet or savoury version (we always picked both so we could share and try both breakfasts). They even made us a breakfast box to take with us on our sunrise tour of Borobudur.
Yes the showers are shared and yes they only have cold water but there's enough of them that you never have to wait and the temperature of the water is actually really nice in this climate so don't let this put you off.
If you're looking for a place to stay in Yogyakarta don't hesitate and book Snooze!

I mean the hostels is absolutely gorgeous but I have to say it’s the staff that made our stay here truly special . Everyone went above and beyond to accommodates us in every tiny way possible. When we had to get up early in the morning they offered to give us breakfast boxes to go, and helped us choosing tours and arranging taxis. Plus everyone was super friendly and warm, would absolutely recommend this to anyone staying in Yogyakarta. Thanks for a wonderful stay and hope to see you again! X

Loved this place! The place itself is beautiful (especially with all the plants everywhere) and very clean, but the staff is what really made our experience here! They were extremely kind and helpful! We bombarded them with questions as we wanted to make sure we experience the best of Yogyakarta and what Indonesia in general has to offer, and they really took the time to explain everything and help us figure out the rest of our journey. And the laugh of Triss (one of the staff members) made the whole experience even better :) Thanks a lot Snooze, we really enjoyed it!

I can’t recommend this place enough.
Everything was more than perfect, from the moment I walked in and was welcomed with a huge smile I felt that it’s definitely a home away from home.
The staff is amazing, very attentive, friendly and ready to help. I enjoyed every chat with each of them so much.
I stayed 2 nights in a shared room, which was so clean, bed comfortable, cozy and the curtains of each bed are a good addition, and then extended my stay one more night in a private room, which was great as well.
They offered a private car which took us to the Borobudur and Prambanan temple. The driver was great.
The breakfast was delicious and the fruits really nice as well as the coffee.
The relaxing area it’s cozy with lots of plants.
Give it a try and will make your stay in Yogyakarta amazing.

Absolutely the best hostel I've ever experience!

The property: clean, nice layout, cozy, got plenty working station to choose
The room: clean, comfortable, ideal bed size, fair room rate
The location: strategic, just a stone's throw away from Royal Palace
The food: delicious! Fair price, ideal portion
The service: they successfully deliver a 5 star level of service! Their level of hospitality made me feels like I am staying in a luxury resort. Well done!

Snooze Yogya is a true definition of "home away from home" and I cannot wait to be back soon!

The staff are the friendliest people you can find. From the arrival to even after you leave, they want to help you have the best time in the country.
They help you organize everything from your tours to your transport.
It close to everything, you can walk to most of the main attractions in the city.
Plus the hostel is extremely pretty with loads of vegetation.
