I traveled with friends and it's good one for 4 travelers and or 4 members family.
Hot water, tea, coffee and cream and also fridge in the pantry area.
Nice lah pokoke.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed. The bedrooms are really clean and look more like in a hotel. Also probably the most comfortable hostel bed I ever had. Also good area as the food around is amazing and reply cheap! The staff is super friendly and as I was late for the train and my grab driver wasn't coming one guy from the hostel even drove me to the station. Thanks again :) If I ever come back to Yogyakarta I will definitely go to this hostel again!

The staff was super friendly, smiling, and helpful when I asked so many questions! The bed was the most comfortable in a dorm I've stayed in so far. The bathroom had hot water and great water pressure, very spacious shower too. Large locker for your stuff, outlet and long shelf to store things above your pillow. Location was walking distance to the bus station and restaurants, bars, dessert, and massages! Didn't go in the pool but I felt the water and it was a good temperature and clean. There's also a kitchen you can use to cook your own food.

best thing about this place was the new concept in hospitality industry, which alter the room-rent concept to bed-rent, which become popular nowadays especially for budget traveller. 4 beds in a room stacked 2-by-2, every bed had curtains, and their own shelves for guests' privacy. All beds are rigid and no worries of falling down in the middle of the night, rooms also clean, air conditioner also functioning well.

other facilities are not at their best..
bathrooms are many; the one which are private bathroom, and other were shared. Private's cleanliness is good, not the same with the shared ones. waters in shared bathrom also not swift flowing.

swiming-pool is available in the middle of the common room, but BEWARE!! it was deep, and no signs of it.

breakfast also available, enough to had before better ones outside.

last thing that might not directly affecting the hotel, but since it was an overall review, I guess this last thing should came up to count. There's a lonely old lady lived right across the building, grumpy lonely old lady to be exact! she ALWAYS yelled at any body who are parked their cars in-front of the hotel.. whaaat??? yess in-front-of the hotel, not in front of her house, in front of the hotel!!! she yelled to make you move your car, accused you not able to read signs (which there aren't no signs, and even if there are.. it is ridiculous to forbid car parking in front of any hospitalities places), even threaten you to put spiked barbs under your tires..

when you meet her, just ignore her.. she's been "stressed" like that ever since.. just close your ears if you know what she's saying (in javan language), if not, just made her a morning free entertainment from hotel.

location is about 1Km from southern-park (alun² selatan) and not more than 3Km from Malioboro street.

consider coming back but as backpacker, not with my family.

Good: location in quiet street near Pramirotaman. Air con rattling but cold. Filtered water and boiled water for tea. Bad: Rancid sheets on arrival and frankly they all need burning. Very dirty bathroom. Cold showers.

Great location
Everything is VERY clean and tidy, and the beds are so so comfortable, I slept soundly.
Staff are so friendly and helpful and easily will get chatting to you - the food they make is good to
Very nice pool and sitting area - can refill water and help yourself to tea and coffee for free
Would definitely recommend staying here

Oase Hostel is one of best hostel in Yogyakarta. I slept in Queen Room and the room was tottaly clean + good aircon. The bathroom was really great. Even the room wasn't really big, but worth to try with the price. The customer service just perfect.
