This hotel is in a very central location. While it is located at a main road it is quiet enough to get enough rest and a good night's sleep. The hotel is not brand new, and while this means that the rooms are not at all high-tech, they are cozy and comfortable. It is also obvious that this is a hotel with an experienced staff. They are professional and very friendly. They are willing to go the extra mile if needed. Their staff is very much a highlight of this hotel.

Wonderful stay at Kimaya Sudirman Yogyakarta by Harris.

From arrival until departure, all exceeded my expectations.

Very attentive staff from security, bellman, reception, housekeeper to waiter staff. They always smile and greet me whenever I'm passing by, very quick to respond for every request you have.

The room itself is very spacious, spotless, and comfy. The bed so comfortable and the linen always smell fresh, amenities on the room also complete for its price range.

Breakfast options can cater everyone, from meat lover to even vegan. And it is taste delicious.

They even have free gym to use with complete equipment, the tropical pool makes you feel like in Bali with its refreshing greenery and waterfall (although actually you are in the middle of busy Jogja City)

Also the most important, they have great health protocol in this pandemic situation.

So for the conclusion, this is the best 4 star hotel you'll find in Jogja. I am very satisfied with my stays here, great job !

The worst 4-star hotel that I've visited so far.
We arrived at the hotel around 11pm and expected to have nice shower with hot water. Unfortunately, what happened was the hot water is broke and the color of the water itself is brown, super dirty!
We booked 3 rooms and all of them having same condition.

Aside to that, room interior also looks very old and the spring bed about to worn out, seems they are using previous bed from Novotel. The bed sheet is dirty as well.

The food taste is so-so.

Will never stay at this hotel again.

Breakfast good, room cozy, staff are very welcoming to us. So comfortable, nice and pleasant stay. they have a very refreshing pool with nice garden. the hotel offers comfortable rooms with peaceful ambience in the middle of the city.

Kimaya also facilitates guests to hold various kinds of formal events, like Wedding Proposal. You can choose the venue in the Ballroom, Garden, or Sidepool. At that time I chose the sidepool venue, and it was very beautiful to use for a small event. But, For a 4-star hotel, I think the ballroom interior needs to be renovated, because it looks a bit old-fashioned.

+ Their great and warm hospitality which can be experienced starting from drop off lobby and reception area, are comparable with 5 star hotels.
+ Their spacious room (ard 28sqm), and real king size bed with 1-seater sofa are great for long stay or for family.
+ Well equipped and well maintained gym area.
+ Great location, not too far from Malioboro ( less than 10 mins by car), beside a compact shopping centre, and Trans Jogja is located across the street.

The Hotel is quite clean, they got a spacious loby area, bar, open air for breakfast, pool, good internet conection, and also enough parking lot.
Their toilet didn't have a "boosterpump" so the water flow slowly ????
They had an various kinds of breakfast menu, got an instant noodle, the bread is very nice, got toaster and coffee machine..
