Staff is really friendly however they smoke everywhere. The reception is always full of smokers and that smoke arrives to the rooms.
Our bed had bedbugs. They changed us to a different room when we told them but we had to wash all our infected clothes and pay for that laundry.
Breakfast is okay, they really make an effort to impress customers but they mix for example oatmeal with cheese.
I would not stay there again.

Loved this place. We ended up staying in Yogyakarta for 9 days for visa extension and couldn't of picked a better place to stay. Really felt like home with amazing breakfasts and cool art/decoration on the walls. The rooms are all big and clean and if you have the ones upstairs there is a big balcony with a seating area to chill on. The staff are so nice, friendly and welcoming and offer lots of advice about places to eat and stuff to do!

Stayed for 2 nights and I felt at home. It's cheap and very clean. The location is quite strategic in city center. Bathroom is very spacious. And there is kitchen for guest who like to cook. The common room quite cozy, the staff so friendly.

But the bed a bit frail, I got upper bed for dormitory room and when I climb to my bed, the bed is shaking and disturb another guest below me. I'm afraid to move my body or my leg just a little in the bed.

Overall this place is very recommended for backpacker or anyone who need place to crash in a budget.

Really nice place they have two hostels just next to each other! One got a pool and you can use ot the rooms have ac. The staff will give you a lot of adivce and take you on tours just lovely! Got hot showers and clean bathrooms
They have a bar ypu can use as well
You meet quite a lot of other people as well
In thevcenter as well like 10 min walk from the bars scooter rental is a good price

I will always back to Hati-hati. I love the classic yet youthful ambience. Everything works perfectly, wifi, hot water, staffs, bed, air conditioner. Feels like home. My first day in Hati-hati, the shower nearby isn't working, but doesn't matter, I can use the other bathroom which perfectly fine. My concern only there's couple who literally sleep on the same bed within bunk bed and very much noisy, it quite disturbing. I love the staffs, they're very friendly and nice. And free coffee, tea and water is a great offer for such a price.

If you're in Jogja for just a few days, this is hands down the best place to stay. Super helpful staff who accommodate to all your needs and give the best advice on where to go for day trips. I definitely recommend this lovely hostel to all backpackers, you won't forget your stay here!

We had a nice time at the Hati Hati. The staff is taking care u0026 trying to help as best as they can. The room (with terrace right next to the entrance) was fine for the money we paid. Only thing annoying is that the staff smokes constantly in the reception so the whole place smells like an ashtray.
