Fun place to go especially if you love taking a photo or do selfie, if not ..forget about this place.

Spent around 1-2 hours here, me and my kids did enjoy this place. We bought a bundle ticket which include 3 museum tickets ( De Mata 1 u0026 2, De Arca) it cost around Rp 100.000 per person.

The only downside is some of the 3D wallpapers need to be repaired, we can see that some of them start to peel off.

Mata Mata Museum? To tell you the truth, initially I was quite blur. It didn't strike my mind that Mata Mata Museum is gonna be flipping the coin to 3D Art Trick Museum in Solo until I stepped foot inside (Penang 3D Museum, Langkawi 3D Museum, Korea 3D Museum u0026 Port Dickson Upside Down House). Duh! The usual picture posing and clicking and for putting your camera to full force which I felt I might as well. Already in Mata Mata Museum, what else should I do anyway? Unless, I would have joined the couple who opted to sit outside across the shops?

tickets IDR 30K/person (50K during holiday season). photographer available for IDR 120K/10shots. no charge if you take photos yourself with your own camera, but maybe a little bit difficult to find the right angle because the visual tricks of each spot.

Selfies paradise with lots of fun backdrops and friendly staffs to assist you. Very affordable price for entrance fee and taking studio style photos especially for students.

It's a cool place for photos in either 3D or 4D photos. One of the choices of tourist sites is to complement the existing tourist locations in Yogyakarta. Two thumbs up for De Mata ????????

We chose on weekdays for visiting the museum. I think it's a good idea because there's no many visitors. So, we can take some pictures more flexible and free. The price was cheaper for "terusan" tickets on weekdays compared on the weekend. It's 100K pr. Person.
There is 4 different places: De Mata 1 u0026 2 De Arca, and D'walik. De Mata concept is 3D, illution, and trick Eye with around 120 paintings. D'Arca concept is Statue of Super Heroes in the movies, the world leaders, Singer etc. But, some statue isn't right.
D'Walik concept is upside down.
We had great fun and it's worth it to spend our time to get different experience.we were really tired as we took many pictures.
Thumbs up for the staffs who's in charge, because they were professional, nice and help to take many great photos for us ❤️

At De Mata Trick Eye Museum, visitors can feel a three-dimensional sensation with a variety of amazing poses and backgrounds because it's like real. It is called the largest in the world because in XT Square Yogyakarta there are 120 three-dimensional images, while in foreign countries at most only 70 images.

The presence of De Mata Trick Eye Museum in XT Square is something new, unique and spectacular, because this museum's tourist attraction is the first one in Yogyakarta even in Central Java. Unique because it presents a variety of images ranging from natural themes, sports, characters, animals, super heroes, romances, circuses, ornaments, including Tamansari tourism objects and Yogyakarta Palace performances.

Occupying the basement area of u200bu200bJogja XT Square, the placement of these three-dimensional images is conceptualized using a labyrinth model so as not to saturate the visitors of this museum. Most of the work is the creation of Petrus Kusuma himself and some other works by art students ISI Yogyakarta.

In De Mata there are also statue ornaments of heroes and famous figures. this place is a tourist spot that is suitable for all ages.
In this place too, visitors can interact with properties in each room, style like and express.
