Registration was easy. The staff were extremely accommodating and allowed me to check in early at like 10am. I got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. I then went to my room. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was fast handed. They went over and beyond to help make my stay kinda enjoyable.

Overall, I had a great experience, staff was incredibly helpful. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting around Gajah Mada area

Nice hotel... The room was spacious and clean when we were arrived. The staff also really helpful, at 11PM I told them to change the towel because mine was a little bit dirty, and they changed it immediately. The staff were lovely and fast respond, definitely will come back again.

The customer service was good, the room was okay, but they didn't really provide enough for two people despite us ordering as such. Only one toothbrush, one nearly empty box of tissue, and one towel. So we had to ask for more from the reception.

Not a big deal.

However, the worst part of this hotel was the freaking COCKROACHES. Watch out because these pests are going to crawl into your food as you lie on your bed, or your sofa at night.

10/10 never coming back again. :)

Very good hotel, all the people there are very nice, reception always for help and fast. The hotel get a nice swimming pool with relax area next to, all are outside but on 7 floor so quiet. The gym area get a lot of different option and got sauna and hammam too.

I got the big room, was very big and nice, with 2 toilets, one on entry close to living room and one in bath room, bet a shower and a bath, 2 TV, 2 desk, really great room.

Can accessx to his floor with his room key only.

Only one comment maybe can improve, I got the first room near elevator, the sound that elevator make when arrive is very strong and can be hear from the room, so when late and someone use it, it's bad, so maybe can be decrease ? :)

It was amazing experience during my last staycation in here. But unfortunately, there is no lift to the basement parking, and was made to wait 2 hours because the room was not ready yet at check-in. overall the rooms are clean, the food is not bad. thank you.

My 3rd time staying at Accor hotel and 1st time to stay at Novotel Gajah Mada. I could say that the hotel is very strategic and has many features e.g. almost near perfect gym, sauna, massage, near starbucks, etc. I got a very good deal by using Accorplus membership here.

Preference:
u003e As I told, the location is very strategic. Near Transjakarta bus stop, many restaurants around the hotel, near Glodok China Town, Starbucks right in front of the hotel, and also you can visit Chandra Naya, an historical place.
u003e My favorite chair for being lazy is also available here.
u003e I am very PICKY about the bedding. Honestly, I tried 2 Novotel hotels but neither of them giving the best experience about it. The pillow was not comfortable at all and also the texture of the bed.
u003e Many services can be found here e.g. gym, pool both for adult and kids, sauna, and restaurant.
u003e Thanks for the front of office who was really helpful to give me new batteries for remote TV and additional pillow as substitution of bolster that I asked before.

Strong points:
u003e It is a wheelchair friendly hotel. Don't worry about it :)
u003e Near Starbucks coffee shop. 1 min walk from the hotel xD
u003e Nice and helpful staffs.
u003e Get welcome drinks (for Accor member).
u003e Pool for both adult and kids.
u003e Gym (you can almost find machine that you need).
u003e Sauna and massage (but I haven't try it).
u003e Nice city view from 170x room (odds number room).
u003e The location is surrounded by halte Transjakarta, KRL station, and Glodok. Near the hotel you can find many "jajanan kaki lima" and other restaurants as well.
u003e Love the slipper :3 Compare to the Novotel Tangerang, it has better quality.
u003e I got my breakfast at the restaurant's hotel and it was good. Love the fish katsu, really delicious.
u003e There is a table in front of the room. So, if we request for something, they will deliver it to the table (just in case we are outside the room).

Weak points:
u003e (based on my preference) I don't like the bedding, honestly I couldn't get a really deep sleep and woke up at 4am just because I can't go sleep anymore. Not comfortable, especially the pillow.
u003e Compare to the Novotel Tangerang, the lights are really dimmed. I think the watts is different.
u003e Compare to 2 previous hotels, this hotel didn't provide welcome snack (e.g. in the 1st hotel provides brownies and fruits).
u003e The lobby hotel and inside the elevator was humid because the air conditioner was very limited.
u003e Compare to 2 previous hotels, the choices for free drinks are very limited. I could only choose between juice (of course all of the hotels don't provide fresh juice) and coffee.
u003e The head shower was rather dirty. A lot of black things on it. Hopefully, they can regularly cleanup the shower head.
u003e Can't find laundry bag.

Verdict:
I booked this hotel because I got the discount as Accorplus ALL member.
Would I book this hotel again with discount? Maybe (especially if I want to go to the gym and they have improved the bedding).
Would I book this hotel again without discount? No (until they can improve the bedding).

Hopefully, I can get improved experience next time.

A poorly cleansed room with cockroaches crawling around the bathroom, cold breakfast that looked like yesterday's left overs, and the extremely poor service given by the receptionist. That was my exeperience in staying in Novotel. So, I hope that novotel can improve their service and accomodation
