The Puri of Kerambitan is one of many Puri (castle) in Bali that represents the kingdom era, according to the son of the last king it was built around 1600 AD to supporting local villagers around the Puri. The "Ratu" which is the son of the king is also a very humble person and will happily share us knowledge of the history of what was happened around their territory. One thing that was interesting is that one of the building part was occasionally used by the first president of Indonesia "Soekarno" as a guest room. Soekarno himself was a good friend of the king.

One best well preserved palace in Bali. It is unique due to the use of unearthed china founded when the palace was first built. This palace was home for 11 generation of kings of Tabanan.

One of the best historical Balinese Castle in Bali. And the great news is you can stay there. Just try from your apps such as traveloka, airbnb, oyo and others.
There is a traditional market exactly in front of the castle.

A friend suggested me to have a Balinese royal dinner here. Turned out it was a long festive procession of welcoming royal guests with dances, traditional music, a royal feast and a sacred play of Calon Arang. It was magical!
