Stayed in the single garden wooden bungalow. It's simple and basic with outdoor bathroom. It's fine but with some TLC this could be 5 stars. Some other apartments are available for a higher price which are very pleasant. The host Nengah was extremely polite and helpful

Very reasonably priced accommodation, quirky design and interiors. Ocean views from the upper floor if you pick the upper accommodation.
Don’t bother with the breakfast. Much better value down the road but not the posh place.
Cleanliness was fair. Staff were very friendly. Reasonably quiet. Beautiful garden to chill in. Ocean breeze. Only fan cooling.

So rad waking up to the ocean. Loved the fluffy pillows and that there is a big free water canister in the room with a bar fridge stocked with well priced liquids. Good water pressure and hot water in the shower. You can actually just chill here as the balcony is nice and big with a stunning view

A place where you can get away from the hype and hassles of the usual Bali tourist areas and experience the charm and beauty of the ‘real Bali’.

Pondok Pisces is a simple friendly, relaxed place…more like a home away from home than a big tourist resort. One of the best accommodation at Balian Beach with tropical style accommodation and consists of traditional thatched roof bungalows set in lush tropical gardens. Natural materials including coconut wood poles, riverstones, slate, bamboo and woven rattan walls all add to the charm and character of the buildings.

Don’t expect walled compounds, boom gates and 5 star luxury here. What you can expect is just about the friendliest service possible from some of the friendliest people in the world; luxurious tropical style accommodation in flower filled gardens (no rows of concrete boxes); and delicious, freshly cooked Indonesian and Western food from our restaurant Tom’s Garden Café.

Staff speaks limited English, room was noisy, humid, no wifi and got quite a lot of ants. Besides that during the night there were a few showers, which resulted in that it started raining on our beds (and in our face). The swimming pole is in fact in another place 400 meters from the place. Staff was not interested in the reasons why we wanted to leave 2 days earlier Not a place I would recommend.

Did not stay in one of the rooms, but had a dinner at their restaurant with the family, as the place was near to our villa.
Food was below expectation. There are definitely better choices around.

Location and staff deserves 5 huge stars. Unfortunately the rooms are dated and not that well kept + noisy and humid during the night.
