It is a forest inhabited by thousands of monkeys.
At the beginning of the forest, you are greeted by many ladies who work there and also run souvenir shops at the entrance of the forest.
Each lady follows you through the forest and tells you how to treat the monkeys. They also keep a wooden stick in case a monkey goes wild.
At the beginning of the forest, you can buy nuts to feed the monkeys. For safety reasons each lady keeps the nuts.
In the forest there is a temple and at the end there are some bats, which you can take pictures with.
Each lady offers to take pictures with the monkeys, but in the end, she takes you to her shop to buy some souvenirs.

I have paid 50K IDR per person as entrance, which is not at all worth. If you want to see monkey, go to uluwatu temple also monkey is all over bali. This place seems to be abandoned, no visitors. I can pay 10K IDR for entrance not more than that. Also monkeys are agressive please handle it softly.

Not too busy. Good idea if you are looking for something easy to do. The monkeys are adorable but the bats will steal your heart! Who knew they can be so loving!

Monkeys were lovely but unfortunately it was all a ploy to spend exorbitant amounts of money with your guide. They were not happy when I didn’t want to have a photo holding a bat and instead of taking the gift I offered I was told the rule is to spend in a the guides stall. I walked out 1 million rupiah lighter and a sarong and magnet to show for it. I don’t recommend this place at all.

It was a misery place..the only happy creatures there were the monkeys, who were free in the park. Bats and snakes as a poor attraction for photos. Many cute dogs\puppys around, some of them seem really sick. Ladies who are hostess there at the end wants to visit their places\shops that are not desirable. All of them were polite, smilie and helpful, but the environment was something that i did not want to see ..

This place is truly amazing! A lot of monkeys around the place makes it true to the name???? Walking a little further from the place you will find a photo booth, where you can get your pictures clicked in a traditional Balinese costume! The photos are worth every penny and the whole team is very very friendly! They let you click pics and something you should not miss is clicking pictures with the bats???? The guides are also very friendly and explain you on things that can be done around????????Don't miss a chance to feed the monkeys???? You can also check out the shops inside this place to buy beautiful souvenirs ????
