Unique interior, old Javanese style. Good food but you have to wait little bit longer and you get cold vegetables (carrots, sweet potato, fried potato, bean). Cheap price. Sirloin Selat too sweet.

One of Solo's heritage food, Omah Selat, western local food, I love how it taste, a bit sweet (as you may expected from javaness), but the meat is so tender and full of flavor, the decoration and vibe also match perfectly with the food. Def will be back

Recommended by my cousin, now I recommend you!! I love Selat Solo, i might be subjective but this one was DE-LI-CI-OUS. Like Really really mouthwatering-can not resist another one-kinda thing. I was suprised to see the price on the menu.. Well, Anything in Solo is generally cheap, but these were CHEAP, especially when you compare to prices in Jakarta.

my family ordered :

Selat Segar (Beef) 19K x 2
Selat Galantin (Chicken) 17K
Fried Potato u0026 Sweet Potato 15K
Beras Kencur 7K
Hot Tea 1 or 2 K

I forgot the exact price but total we paid 78K.
I should mention that each of them tasted awesome and just perfect. The sauce wasn't too salty/spicy/sweet, The meat was tender, the potato was perfectly cooked.

Did I mention that the interior of the restaurant is chinese-javanese vintage style? There were many adorable accessories inside the store. Also, they accept Debit Card, other than Cash.
